    Great movie TV

    We have this TV downstairs setup like a movie theatre. It's gorgeous visual quality makes movies that much better. The only downside is that the audio isn't the best that you need a sound bar.

    LG OLED 77”

    Noone can get the LG tv eArc HDMI to connect to either a Definitive Technology or Sonos soundbars. None of the Tech support people from LG, Definitive Technology, or Best Buy have gooten to work since the day the tv was installed. Can only use digital optiical input, which loses Dolby Atmos sound.

    LG OLED TV PANELS WILL STOP WORKING

    I purchased an OLED LG TV for ~$6,000 in June of 2019. A little after two years, the TV simply stopped working. I then paid for an LG certified technician to diagnose the issue and their answer was that the LG panel was bad. I used the TV for around ~1,500 hours before this happened. LG's customer service claims they are not at fault because the TV is past its one year warranty period. LG customer service has been terrible to work with and they have taken zero accountability. STAY AWAY FROM LG OLED TVS.

    Switched to Sony A80j

    Wish I would have started with the Sony. This one is very dim and the picture on the A80j is sooo much better.

    Volume adjustment is terrible

    Has anyone realized there is something wrong with the volume of this tv? The volume adjustment from one sequence to another os too high or too low. Drives everyone in my house crazy. After such a costly investment nothing to do, but will the last LG tv I purchase for this reason, never had I had this happen with any other brand.
