The best for gaming on Xbox Series X
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is huge! The picture is perfect and for gaming it's the best. I had a Sony Bravia 55" 4k and upgraded to this to fit my wall better and to go nicely with the Xbox Series X. It works great with the Xbox and games have never looked better. 120FPS!

Beautiful Picture - Genuinely Impressed
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had been researching 85" TVs for awhile and decided it was time to see them in person (reading and watching reviews helps but you have to see some things in person). We were having a difficult time deciding which model to go with when we came across the LG 77" Class C1 Series OLED. There was a noticeable difference in clarity and picture quality that kept bringing us back to this TV as we scrutinized the options. It was smaller than we had initially wanted but we were so impressed by what we saw at the store that we went ahead and made the purchase. After almost a month we both feel this was a great decision. Movies look stunning (we're working thru the Marvel universe in 4K) and gaming (PS4 and Switch, sorry no next-gen yet) look fantastic on this TV. It pushed our budget but I think it was well worth it.

Almost Perfect...
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid smart TV with tons of setup and viewing options. If you've never had a 4K TV before you will be impressed. A little overwhelming for finding your final picture settings and all the apps and tool options. A little more brightness I think would make this a perfect panel. When you find your sweet spot, it settles right in than no going back! Recommend a quality 4K Blu-ray player and surround sound system. This is a 2021 version and maybe hard to find at this point. Just mentioning that because i just saw the 2022 version and it is alot brighter and colors a tad more vibrant. Im usually in a darker room when watching so Im happy not upgrading or at the time waiting for the new version. Enjoy!

Amazing TV!
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing TV! Picture doesn’t get any better and colors and deep blacks make it worth every penny. Did a lot of research before purchasing and glad I did. This is the tv to get if you want a lot of real estate and crystal clear picture!

I just had to have it...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just purchased the 77in CX early September and I've been head over heels in love with the tv but i can't lie, the C1 has been calling me, beckoning for me almost. I couldn't stop looking at reviews for the 77in C1, almost everyday since I've had the CX. I think the ability to game in Dolby Vision at 120hz right out the box plus the new suite of gaming options is what did it. The CX will be getting DV @120hz but no one knows when. So needless to say, i went to my local BB today and exercised my option to return the CX and pick up the C1. I even scored a 100 dollar gift card for doing so, so that's a plus. It also helps that the C1 went down in price a tad bit. You can't go wrong with either tv but if you're a big gamer such as myself and you want the extra nuances then go with the C1.

Time to Go BIG
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Delivery was prompt and courteous. Box was in immaculate condition. The box and TV is huge, so if your are doing the unboxing and set up, make sure you have help. I followed the video Best Buy provided on the product page for unboxing and installation of the stand and it worked very well. The box was design for this set of instructions but the on box instructions were different. So far the picture is amazing and the sound is also pretty darn good, so you do not need to always use your sound-bar or AV system. The smart remote is good, if it was backlit it would be great. The new web OS is ok, I still prefer the older style but I will get used to it. I use it for movies and football, so I cannot comment on gaming features but it is time for you to take the plunge and go 77” like I did!

two thumbs up!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am totally pleased with this tv. It looks amazing and the internal speakers are the best I've heard. The picture quality when I play my PS5, Series X and even my Switch OLED reflects the high LG quality with next gen gaming. Movies and tv look amazing on this tv as long as you have the right service/content to utilize the 4k UHD and OLED capabilities. The remote control is cool. The web OS menu can be a bit much and will take some getting used to. I could go on and on about this tv but overall it is a bit pricy but if that's not a factor for you....its an excellent tv!

Beautiful TV owned for 2 years still great
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OLED Picture is absolutely amazing. Inky blacks and smooth refresh rate has been better than anything I've owned before. Highly recommended. Magic remote is a bit touchy but easy to get used too.

Mind Blown!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm coming from a few year-old LG LED tv and this is my first OLED. Let me just say this thing is absolutely amazing! I didn't know what I was missing out on, the picture is ridiculous and on top of that playing my Xbox Series X on it is just awesome. I seen the reviews and videos talking about the inky blacks and picture quality, well this thing lived up to the hype. I had to have a buddy help me put the stand on and place it on the entertainment center, she's quite large but not very heavy. Setup was a breeze and whatever kind of chip this thing has inside is great, no lag or glitching. Switching between apps or streaming programs is quick and easy.

Best picture quality available
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was hanging on to my Panasonic plasma as it was once the best picture quality you could find. Finally caved in and purchased the LG OLED C1 77”. And I can tell you, it’s everything it’s advertised as, and more! This is the very best picture quality you can find anywhere. Deep consistent blacks, bright vivid colors, makes the picture leap off the screen. In 4K you think your looking at a 3 dimensional image. The depth is unreal.

Great Hardware, Adequate Interface
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As for as hardware and picture quality goes, this television is 5 stars. However, the LG OS is buggy and apps can be difficult to work with. The remote control pointer is superfluous and you cannot turn it off. But, the picture is stunning and the blacks are so rich that if the the screen is dark you think the TV is off.

Great OLED TV
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Outstanding picture quality! I upgraded from a Sony Bravia LED, which is a very good TV, but the improvements are clear. The TV sets up easy, and has beautiful visuals. Movies on my Sony 4K UHD player look better than ever, along with games on my XBOX One. The only draw back is the LG web OS Smart TV doesn't have some of my favorite apps, like ESPN or HBO Max. You may need to get those through a Roku or FireStick, or use your XBOX. But it comes with plenty of the major apps like Netflix, Prime, Apple TV, Disney+ that you won't ever be at a loss for something to watch. With 4 2.1 HDMI ports, including eARC, all of your devices will work better than ever.

Best TV on the market!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If money is not an issue then just buy the 65 or 77 inch C1. It has the darkest true blacks, motion is not a problem and the picture is absolutely beautiful. It has 4 HDMI 2.1 ports so you can do 4k 120 gamine and it game optimizer to customize your gaming experience to any genre. It’s a game changer and I’m glad I didn’t settle. Movies will never be the same again either! This is a WOW CHECK OUT THIS OUT TV!

Great large screen OLED that is now affordable
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from a LG C9 65”, the bigger 77” is definitely more immersive. I can’t say the picture is much better, but it’s great to have the 120hz dolby vision for gaming. Id prefer that the new WebOS not stop what is playing to bring up other apps, but whatever. My biggest complaint is that using the Youtube TV app quits after a few min and I have to restart, usually when using the app after TV power on (does same thing on my LG 48CX). I do like having these apps available on the TV…allows me to get rid of other hardware.

Amazing picture quality
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was immediately blown away by the picture quality of this tv. I am not a tv expert but the blacks are pure blacks and colors are so vivid. The picture quality is crystal clear. After getting an OLED, i doubt I could ever buy anything else at this point. I cannot comment on the sound quality since I have it hooked up to a sound system. But if you are looking for a man cave or family room tv, dropping a few extra $$ on an OLED if well worth it.

Take my money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As an avid movie fan and a big gamer, I've been looking at tvs for a few years waiting for the right opportunity to jump. I had an old 65" Samsung standard LED HDTV, and the jump to this 2021 LG OLED was... big. It was big. and expensive, and worth every penny. My only regret is not getting the 83", but the extra $2k for 6 inches seemed high. Now I wish I did. The TV itself is gorgeous. My main concerns with OLED were brightness, burn in, and VRR on games as the 2020 models would have blacks flicker depending on the refresh rate. I'm happy to say after owning for about 6 weeks, that none of those are real issues for me. I have this tv in a room that is fairly bright, during the day, and we have no problems seeing the picture. Glare can be annoying, but that happens with most tvs. Burn in is basically a non issue these days. The screen will very quickly go into a screen saver mode, and there are other tools to help mitigate. And the black flickering with VRR in games...absolutely happens. Which can be very annoying, but I only tend to see it in the game menus, not while playing. I don't know if thats because the menus run at a lower rate, or if when I'm gaming I just don't notice it. Either way, if there is a game out there that becomes annoying with flicker, you can easily turn off vrr. The LG OS is simple to use, and it is fast and snappy which is good. Overall 9.5/10, would go broke again.

Great tv
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV has a great picture. Sound was okay but the sound bar I already had was still better. The features are easy to use and intuitive. Plan ahead when you get it! It is heavy and you will need two able-bodied people to set it up. If you are mounting it, the mount is not in the dead middle center but is instead on the bottom center of the tv. The tv stand that is included is also heavy. I am happy with my purchase and am glad we got this model and size.

OLED TVs are the best of the best
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had bought a 55 inch OLED CX a while back ago and decided to upgrade to the 77 inch C1 after moving in to my new apartment. I gotta say, this thing is amazing. Beautiful rich colors, pairs amazing with my PS5 for gaming, and has eARC so I can connect my Sonos sound system. Everything about it is great. It is a fairly thin TV so I’m scared to touch it but besides that, best TV I’ve ever owned. Highly recommend it.

Best TV of 2021
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the best TV screens on the market. I bought it during Black Friday as an upgrade from my 75" 2020 LG Nanocell90 and I wanted to use it for some time before making a review. I gotta say I absolutely love it so much so I forgot to even write my review till now in February. The C1 is a 4k UHD OLED 120hz screen which means you're getting perfect dark blacks, precise colors, a crystal-clear picture, and supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision. I love the HDMI 2.1 connection ports for 4k 120hz support when gaming on my PS5 or PC. The only complaints I have is the home dashboard is bombarded with ads, the speakers are underwhelming, and the motion settings are still nonsensically labeled. On my old Nanocell if I pressed the home button whatever was playing on screen would still play while at the bottom of the screen the apps icons would be displayed to pick from. On the C1 pressing the home button stops everything and takes the whole screen to display all that's "available to watch" or "trending" or "Sponsored". All this causes the TV to slow down a bit because of how much processing power it takes to display all the ads. The internal speakers are underwhelming so you'll want to buy a soundbar. I ended up pairing my C1 with a Sony HT-A5000 5.1.2 sound system so it's something I don't even worry about. Lastly the motion settings are still labeled with nonsense names, the details need to describe what motion rate they are prioritizing when being selected. Overall, even the few complaints I have are not enough for me to even say this TV is anything short of 5 stars. If you are watching a lot of 4k media or gaming then I highly recommend this TV, the price is daunting but it's absolutely worth it.
