I've been following reviews on this TV & it's predecessor for well over a year. When the C1 (2021 model) recently went on sale at Best Buy for less than last year's model, I finally decided to take the plunge and replace our aging 55" plasma. Now, every time I turn the corner into our living room and see this 77" monster my heart starts to beat faster! I am so glad I decided to finally get it - the color, the clarity, the SIZE! I love my new TV!

    Television On the Next Level

I purchased this television to install on my wall and replace a wall unit with a 55" curved screen 4K Samsung. Picture quality on this television is insane compared to everything else I demoed. Once in the house and calibrated nothing else compares, period! Try as hard as you can to believe a LED television can compete but it just can't. I admit for the longest time I worried about burn in but lets be honest. I didn't buy this television to watch cable news and I no longer have any use for sports. I did however invest in a five year extended warranty just for piece of mind. For the first time in a long time I feel I got my money's worth on a product. I was torn between this model and the 83" but in the end I just couldn't justify the the price difference between the two, The 77" is huge compared to the 55" television it replaced and honestly I just did not think it was necessary to go bigger. The smart functions and operating system seem to be snappy and easy to navigate. So far everything works as it should and it's nice to be able to just watch the television and turn off my surround system after the wife goes to bed. I especially love the Airplay function. So often I will be looking at something on the computer and want to show the wife. It works wonderful with my Macbook Pro as well as with the Ipad and Iphone. Sound quality is especially nice for a television. Much better than most flat panels that I have demoed. LG could easily offer a powered subwoofer option to go with this television and it would probably satisfy half of the people that don't care for theater sound. As it stands I am very happy with my purchase. Should that change I will update my review.

Great tv with all four ports 4k 120 htz which you can only take advantage of with next gen gaming and the Apple TV also supports it too..The picture is great but it better be for over $3000. Only thing about this tv is you must tweak it and the internet has so many different people showing you if you don’t know how.. Since I have a 65” and 77” because of the smaller size I feel the picture is better on the 65” but either way your good…

Funny story! During this past 2021 Black Friday sale, we buy the awesome deal 82 inch 4k from the other brand that is 60 hz. The picture in the store was not great after seeing it in person. It arrives not working. We go back to the store, the Black Friday pricing on this OLED TV is still valid. We went from 82inch down to 77 inch paid 2k more and could not be happier with the improved picture and gaming. Yes, OLED is worth it.

Not only is this TV the best picture I’ve ever seen, it does everything and is simple to operate. We have had it a year now and never had a single issue. The app allows me to operate the TV via my phone and it’s the same app as the washer and dryer. Convenient and we love it.

    Aesthetically the best OLED TV

Most experts agree that the OLED's probably offer the best television picture. The blacks are the blackest and the colors are the truest. There's various opinions as to which brand has the blackest, the brightest or the most life like picture. Experts even have a variety of opinions as to which brand is preferred by the gaming community. However, I fall into a different category. I like my television not only to perform but to look aesthetically pleasing while viewing. I don't like cheap looking legs on each end. I don't like a small base on a large screen set, They just doesn't seem sturdy to me. My choice was the LG 77" Class C1 Series OLED and I don't regret it. The stand runs about 3/4 the length of the set and weighs over 20 pounds (58.9 without and 79.1 with). If you plan to mount your set this review will be irrelevant to your decision making. If you want a sound bar this may not be the set for you. However, if you are using a 4K receiver and want one of the best OLEDs in the market today, just give this beauty a look. You will be glad you did.

LG’s Picture and Build Quality are Apparent

My previous televisions have been either Panasonic Plasmas or Samsung QLEDs, so when it came time to purchase a new TV, I opted for the Samsung QLED. After it arrived and was setup, I was disappointed with it. The picture was okay, but the overall TV was not what I expected. I returned it and purchased the LG OLED after doing some additional research. The LG OLED is incredible. It was a vast improvement over the Samsung in terms of picture quality and build quality. To be fair, it was also more expensive. However, for the money, I don’t think you can get a better TV. I did have concerns about OLED in a brighter room, but that hasn’t been a problem in my setup. The picture still shows up fine. There are reflections on the screen, but that was a problem with my previous Samsung models as well. I would prefer that the VESA mount was centered on the back of the TV, instead of on the lower third. This TV’s design has a very thin screen and the upper half is about 1/2” thick. On the bottom half, it’s closer to 3” where the electronics sit. This is nice for a TV on a stand, but for a wall mounted TV, it may limit your mount options. On the wall, the overall TV thickness is more important than just a portion of the TV.

TV is amazeballs. Never had an OLED before but this thing delivers. The colors pop so well, and the blacks being actually black is pretty impressive. Probably will never buy another LED again. The only thing I don't like has nothing to do with the TV itself. I prefer the Samsung and/or Google Operating System as well as small remote with few buttons.

i bought the 65 inch c1 coming from the c9 65 inch. at first i thought it really wasn't much of a upgrade coming from the c9 to the c1. but i decided to take back the c1 65 inch. and just go all out and get the 77 inch c1. since best buy didnt have the c1 77 in-stock. i have to wait for delivery of the 77 inche c1 in the meantime i put back my c9 65 inch. and wow i was surprised when i went back to the c9 the c1 looks quite a lot better i noticed right away the c1 looks sharper with better colors right away the skin tones on people are way better on the c1. there is quite a lot of liitle upgrades on the c1 over the c9. if you are a gamer it's the best tv for gaming with 4 hdmi2.1 ports really low input lag. freesync and Gsync. ganr optimizer settings.

It was time for a new smart TV for a new home. The young salesman at the store gave me the overall perspective, explained the alphabet of TV types and brands, and demonstrated them. He gave me the information I needed to make the right decision for me. Weeks later, the older salesman at the store patiently and efficiently walked through my purchase of a new LG OLED 77” smart TV , giving me useful options and setting up dates and equipment for a later smooth installation. Installation day came with great communication, an install crew who put up my new smart TV quickl:y, smoothly and correctly including clear explanation o. How to operate it and it’s features. BEST BUY delivered what was promised, kept all appointments, and made my whole purchase both easy and excellent through every step of the process. I am so glad I used BEST BUY instead of a online mail order selection. I was very pleased.

The best TV I’ve ever seen or owned. If you are looking for the best picture along with amazing PC and gaming functions you’d be hard pressed to find anything as good elsewhere. The only downside I can think of is the peak brightness. If you are placing it in a bright room you may wish it could be brighter, but if you’ve splurged on this incredible set and can’t get curtains I’m not sure what to tell you.

First time I ever splurged on a TV purchase - WOW - am I glad I did. TV is fantastic, and with my surround sound it's just as good as an actual theater. Easy to use controls - including laser-like point and click. Plus got the TotalTech for discounted install. Very happy.

Oh man. This thing is awesome! This TV is truly a game changer. Absolutely gorgeous and slim, easy to use, and crispiest colors. This is the king of TVs as far as I’m concerned. My only small gripe is the mode where paintings can be a screensaver isn’t customizable it seems and you can’t just stop on one painting and leave it on. LG may be worried that screen burn in would be bad.

Great TV if you know what you're buying. OLED has some drawbacks, like lower brightness and potential for burn in. But if those are not concerns based on your use, then the picture quality cannot be beat except by newer models.

The picture quality on this 77" OLED television is breathtaking. You won't be disappointed with this large and in charge tv. This is my second LG OLED tv. My 4 year old OLED tv is still looking fantastic as well. There isn't a hint of burn-in period. So don't let the naysayers lead you astray.
