Installation has taken 10 days and counting.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wall mounted TV is not level. Can't get the installer to come back and level the mount. Cables are not labeled. Remote control was not programmed. Video and audio amplifier are not synchronized to turn on/off. TV's Smart features are no activated. I've been able to do some of it myself but not all. I want my Geek Squad Total Tech Support contract refunded.

77” LG television quit working after two weeks.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After two weeks the 77” LG OLED television we purchased, quit working. We will have a replacement installed next week. I was/am very satisfied with our salesman, Jimmy, and the Geek Squad who came out to confirm the television wasn’t repairable. But then no one contacted us regarding the replacement television. After a week, the only actual person I could talk to about this was a member of the Geek Squad. Someone there told me I had to go back to the store to set up a replacement/installation. Not sure why that was, and it couldn’t be handled on the phone, but I did that. The new television is supposed to be delivered and installed March 13th, 2020.

WARNING - LG C9 will NEVER support FreeSync
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.LG recently made the terribly consumer unfriendly decision to only allow the new FreeSync firmware update to ONLY work on the CX NOT the C9. If you are using the tv for gaming do NOT buy the C9.

Pain in the butt with pixelation.
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not what I had thought. Bad scaling. Too dark. What’s messing with the picture. Wrote a review on manufacturers site and they never posted it. Stay away - get the Samsung.

The Absolute Best
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What a great tv. I have a 65 inch C8 in my living room. I got this 77 inch C9 for my library. While the television is huge the high resolution makes it shrink. Our 65 inch tv in the living room was too small! Both TV's are great. Over the past year, I have seen how the C8 "learns" with AI how to upscale 1080p so that it looks great. What is different about the C9 is that it had a great picture straight out of the box. And it seems to be learning faster. The conventional high def picture looks better everyday. Amazon Prime 4k and Netflix 4k is superb. Even up close with the huge tv it is magnificent. The tv is delicate but is attached to the stand easily with 4 screws. VESA measurements are 26 inches from the screw hole to the side edge of the tv. 8 inches from the bottom VESA hole to the bottom of the tv. All of these are approximate!

It's a beauty!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was worried that I wouldnt like this TV because I was so used to Samsung smart TV features and their small sleek remote. I was wrong, the LG smart features are great! By default it starts with the cursor but you can immediately change that by using the pad which is easily accessible. Its razor thin and looks great on the TV stand. I dont have this mounted. I have the Samsung hw n950 soundbar and it pairs great. I did have to by some wood at home depot and paint it to match my TV stand so it could elevate the TV enough to view over the sound bar. I had the Samsung q900 (8k) and exchanged it for this TV. I have zero regrets!

awesome but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am replacing a 4 year old 65 in. LG Oled. The picture is stunning as expected but the biggest surprise is the sound. I have a Klipch theater atmos sourround system and I was shocked at the improvement in clarity and performance with the sound this tv has made over my old one. My only issue is all the reviews and LG videos show zoom. I liked the zoom feature so I could cut out the banners on news stations I watch to avoid burn in. I find out after I get it home that they removed zoom from the C9. Very disappointing that they still have videos out there showing xzoom.

OLED RULES
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had my C9 for 3 yrs no burn in still gorgeous. I had to buy the 48 inch for bedroom because once you watch OLED you can’t watch anything else.

Best TV I have ever owned.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally bought an 86 Inch NANOCel lcd TV. While the size was awesome, the problems with blooming in dark scenes, and the off angle viewing were too much. After some discussion with my wife, we elected to add more money, and downsize the 77 inch OLED B9 series TV, and could not be happier. No blooms from a backlight, perfect viewing at off angles and easy to set up and configure. I am very happy with this purchase. It definitely has the wow factor we were looking for in a large TV, which the Nanocel lacked. Highly recommend this, and if the 77 inch is too steep, go down in size for the OLED. It is worth it.

Fabulous TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this TV in November 2019 and I must say it is fantastic. True black and amazing picture quality. I love to watch movies and they are even better on this screen. Tv is very light weight for it’s size and I have yet to find any cons. I’m very pleased with this product great job Sony.

Hissing PSU.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sadly, I was forced to return the unit due to a hissing power supply that was extremely noticeable in low contrast, dark scenes. For instance, Game of Thrones S8 Ep3 "The Long Night" was nearly unwatchable due to the nearly constant hiss as the majority of the episode was dark. Other than the PSU deal breaker, the image quality was exceptional and the panel homogenity of this particular unit was well above average. If not for the PSU problem, I would have kept the c9. Though, as I've learned that this issue is not new and existed on the c8's, I will not attempt a replacement and will likely go with the Sony instead.
