This has been the best TV I have owned in years. the colors are crisp and the whites and blacks are so clear its as if u see things for real. My first LG tv as well, so coming from Samsung, the remote is far far better in many ways. Overall I am super satisfied with the TV. Time will tell if the TV can handle burnouts and any other issues some of the others pointed out. But, as a working TV, this is by far the best I have had.
