Compared the new C1 to the old CX and I chose to save the $500 and never know the difference. Interface is fine and mostly unused as all I do is switch between 2 HDMI inputs (Apple TV and the set top box). It is a glorified monitor and I use and optical interface to the 5:2 sound bar, so I can't really comment on the TV internal speakers.
