While the newer iterations of this series promise increased brightness and slimmer form factors (all lovely and important), for those of you looking to own one of the best high def TVs still out there- you cannot go wrong with this CX! Trust me. Color fidelity, truly high def response, and some speakers that will make you wonder why you bought a sound bar- “these are a few of my favorite things!”

Great but not without surprises

I learned, though, the my cable box and router needed to be upgraded in order to take full advantage of the capabilities of the TV.

It took some experimenting with the picture settings to get the right level of detail in dark colors, but once I found the right preset it was great. I haven't been able to get this to work with my Logitech Harmony Hub/ remote and have had a hard time finding online information for that, so I'm back to juggling remotes. My main problem is with the packaging. I now have a garage full of Styrofoam and have no place to send it. It's enough to fill the back seat and trunk of my car, and no one recycles this stuff. I may be able to break it down and put it out a little at a time in my garbage can, and with any luck be rid of it sometime in 2022.
