77" OLED LG OLED TV is the best TV I've ever owned

This is the second LG OLED TV I've owned, and I'm still in love with this gorgeous picture. The streaming apps work great and the magic remote is easy to use. I moved my old 55" to the office where it serves as the main monitor for my PC. The new 77" is the centerpiece of our living room entertainment center and the larger screen works so much better in the space we have. When my dad saw the new TV, he was blown away and decided to buy the same model 77" LG for his living room. I used to be a dedicated Sony fan, and Sony has some excellent OLED TVs today. But LG won me over before Sony ever offered an OLED screen, and LG has never given me a reason to go back. This TV gets my highest recommendation!

This TV has the best picture compared to any other including Samsung 850, however I think it’s not as bright as a Samsung understanding that this is OLED as opposed to LCD / LED. But for the best blacks this is definitely on top. The OS is also really good to use and well thought out. If they can get OLED to be a bit brighter of those really sunny lit rooms, would be nice. Not that it has any issue in well lit rooms, just sometimes you want it really bright. Still won’t trade for any other TV. Very happy with the picture quality.

Replaced a plasma with this LG OLED. OLED was my product of choice as this technology can produce true blacks, matching the old plasma screens. This LG did not disappoint. Outstanding colors and yes great rendering of blacks. Multiple options for adjusting the picture to your taste and/or room environment. Sound seemed good (only listened a bit during installation), as the set is connected to an external surround system, and the connection was easy. Also, if you use a Logitech Harmony remote, this LG is easily added via the Harmony app. The included remote is probably "Okay" depending on your other connected devices. Superb television. Strongly recommend.

Best OLED 4k TV on the market, HDMI 2.1 is a plus

Was able to pick up for a great price Open Box at Best Buy store. Inky blacks. sharp display with great colors. 4K is sharp and images are perfect. LG CX is definitely the best OLED 4K display out there, especially with HDMI 2.1 for next gen gaming consoles and connectivity. However, WebOS is lacking certain apps, specifically HBO Max. Works great with NVIDIA Shield Pro for streaming. Would prefer Android TV as found on SONY TVs vs the WEB OS interface. Not a fan of the wand remote. Would prefer something smaller and more simple like Samsung offers. 77 inch looks great hanging on wall above my fireplace in living room. Overall great package and worth it! No need for 8K TV

This think is incredible. If you’re debating between 65 and 77 I’d recommend 77 if you can afford it and if you view at least 10 feet from the tv. Best TV I’ve ever seen/owned. Love the remote which can be used as point and click or the d pad. Id also recommend purchasing total tech support to save money on the 5 year warranty and have it moved into place and mounted by geek squad for 25 percent the usual cost. They did a great job. True blacks are incredible as is 4k uhd content and next gen console gaming. Built in speakers are great although a subwoofer/soundbar is a must. Get one and an optical cable.

Excellent TV! OLED really beats LED/LCD in the look of the pixels on the screen. Built in sound really fills the room and the webOS system is easy and simple to use.

I got this to replace a 65" Panasonic Plasma. Glad I did. Loved my plasma, but this is bigger, brighter, and even regular HD content looks better. I was actually a bit concerned about brightness, but found that even at <50% it's plenty bright enough. Contrast, of course, is exceptional. Dark scenes (wife loves horror!) have much more detail. Speakers aren't bad, either - we don't always run the surround receiver. Not cheap compared to LCD, but my first 'big' tv, a 55" Panasonic plasma (720P!) was the same price back in 2004, which in my book makes this an awesome value.

All I can say is this is the absolute best TV I've ever owned in 60 years! The picture has no equal. Dint be afraid of reviews that warn against having it in a room that has a lot of light. This is in my living room and the TV handles bright light great. You can literally tailor this TV to whatever you want. The WebOS is fast and easy to use. The smart remote is an outstanding plus and is accurate when you talk into it. 4K seems like you are in the movie and I swear I have a crystal clear 3D image. The 77" is expensive but so much worth it if you can swing it. GET THIS TV and make it your daily driver. Enough said!!!!!!

Awesome picture quality. Perfect black. This is one of the best TVs you would ever find in the market. Especially with the price after C1s were released. I’ve been tracking OLED TVs for a while (since the releases of LG C9 and Sony A9G) It’s always either LG or Sony OLED for me. I pulled the trigger on this one because of the price. With C1/G1 release this year, CX becomes affordable (understatement — more like bargain). C1 doesn’t offer enough improvement for the price difference. New Sony 90J doesn’t offer 77” So it’s no brained for me. Couldn’t be happier with my decision so far

A hard choice between the cx and sony a9g. After choosing the cx, I had my regrets all the way up till the geek squad delivered the lg. But once they brought that huge box in . I kind of knew this was going to be special. This tv is beautiful to look at and has picture quality to match. colors so deep and vibrant, blacks are real black. The image is clean and clear. watching 4k content on this monster is outstanding. 77 inches of pure beauty and a job well done LG. I Have NO REGRETS. ONE OF THE BEST TV MARKET!!!!!

Our previous 65" OLED TV started having pixels going out in the middle of the screen. Had the Best Buy protection on it and it qualified for exchange. The wait time to get to the Geek Squad Support was an hour and a half. But after finally talking to a person on the phone, it was worth it. They looked up my existing model and told me that it was no longer produced, but they could provide a comparable model based on the technology and features my old TV had. The new CX series is was the equivalent of my old OLED. They gave me the full price of my old TV towards the new larger OLED TV. Totally worth the extra charge to go from 65" to 77".

This tv will blow you and your family and guests away. The picture quality is beyond amazing and the black levels on this tv are unrivaled. the sound coming from this tv is pretty impressive being that it is built in speakers. it sounds way better than my sony 4k 65'' tv. I would still recommend a sound bar for it to have the best experience. the viewing angle on this tv is also amazing. the only slight drawback is that it does reflect a bit but it isnt a big deal. at the price of $3299.99 or $3249.99 for being a best buy member, it is totally worth the purchase.

A real game changer. I had already purchased a 4k HDR tv from Samsung previous and was fairly pleased and had been thinking of trying their QLED line when I really got to researching what I wanted out of a television. This led to a comparison between QLED and OLED, and OLED came out the clear winner for me and so I found this beauty. Its crazy how different it is watching something when blacks are properly rendered. It changes your perception of shadows, space on screen, etc. Anyways, I love this t.v. and cannot recommend it strongly enough.

holy cow, this TV is absolutely incredible. it's thinner than my iphone and has mindblowing picture. 4K HDR (either Dolby Vision or HDR10) is gorgeous, both from disc and streaming. it handles regular HD footage flawlessly as well. I literally have zero complaints so far and I'm a super picky customer who works in the film industry so I expected to find something to gripe about, but it really is jaw-dropping. I upgraded from a still-impressive Panasonic Plasma and I'm glad I waited until I saved up for this large screen OLED in order to upgrade.

This is an absolutely stunning TV! Just when i think that the color is too dark, i get an image of something bright and it reminds me that there are multiple dark levels that i have to get used to. It took a few weeks, but now that i've had a couple months watching the TV, i can honestly say that the picture is amazing! I had Geek Squad set it up for me and i have been thouroughly happy with my purchase. Dark, textured scenes can be recognized and are things i've never seen before! Love this TV!

I'll start by saying that the only flaw I have found in this TV is the lack of apps, including ESPN and others I use regularly, so I've had to use an external AppleTV despite the LG having the AppleTV app built in. Everything else about this TV is incredible! The picture, the remote, the integration with other components and inputs, the smart features, the design, the viewing angles, the smoothness of fast moving objects, the clarity in full daylight, the built in art, and the list goes on. This TV is expensive, but amazing!

I absolutely love this TV!! I spent a lot of time debating over which tv to go with and in the end the LG CX won and for good reason! The definition on this screen is amazing! The refresh rate if phenomenal (minimum 120hz and up to 240hz depending on what is on the screen). Video games are also unbelievable on this thing! I was lucky enough to get a PS5 on launch day and every game that i have played on this tv is flawless! I most definitely recommend this tv!
