It's actually so bright that I find it necessary to have other lighting in the room so that it's not too intense. The one negative is not due to the tv. I don't like LG's insistence on involving me in their ecosystem in order to use the smart features. I'm still trying to find a way to access apps without going through their annoying LG channel.

I was iffy if i should get samsung, sony or LG Oled C5 and by far the LG OLED G5 is the top of the line best picture and brightness is amazing. You wont regret it

The oiled is super bright, you will be looking to tone it down. No issues with glare in a bright room

Blair was awesome and this G5 is the best TV I’ve ever seen. Makes everything you watch or play next level. Make sure you turn the energy save mode off to really unlock its potential.

Occasionally I get a screen that says check my usb connections. Have not found a way to prevent this. We control the TV witha a Fire TV controler. TV visual is excellent!!
