With panel damage, Sony at least sends a replacement device within a week after phone diagnostics. LG, insists on sending someone out to inspect, then orders a part for repair (yup, a full panel), rather than just sending a replacement TV in exchange... so yes, with all that bureaucracy, the TV has been broken for a month now with no clear timeline as to when it will be fixed... Again, if and when it works, it's great. Pricey, but great. Unfortunately in the year we've had it, it was just a noticeable amount of time it was not....

That was the main point of getting the gx version. The installation date did not get set properly. Great tv, but bad service.

2 TV’s arrive defective

TCL 55” was also defective on arrival causing another delay. This experience has made me question Best Buy’s trust worthiness.

Opened TV and paid for new TV

When we went to take TV out it was not packaged in the box with screen protector, directions anything sealed. It was a used TV. Not happy for paying for new TV. Tried to call store and store is not taking phone calls at this time. So mad. Have to go back to store tomorrow

I can't tell you about the gamma rays that makes this TV special. What I can tell you is that I know picture quality. This TV is the most beautiful TV ever created by man. The blacks allow even the slightest color to pop. Watching a 4K movie or a nature show is magical. The picture is so good that everyone who sees the TV for the first time asks if it is 3D. Some have even wept during their first viewing. The motion calibration is also excellent. I've watched Hockey, Basketball & Football and there is no lag. You can see individual beads of sweat & there is no blur on a hockey puck being dumped into the corner or a football being thrown into the endzone. The picture is so incredible, that any review I could write would not do it justice. If you have $5,000 in the budget for a TV, there is nothing left to think about. It hangs on the wall flush. I got a professional to do it. It looks great. I paired it with the Sonos Arc- but the sound, on its own, is decent / better than expected. B/C it's flush against the wall, my 77 inch actually looks like a 65. When in doubt, get the larger size.
