Great tv!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this tv. Looks like a hanging picture when not in use. LG offers a lot of free channels and also a fitness apps with free workouts. This is on most of their new tvs. We usually buy Sony, but LG has better prices and has become a great competitor. This is our 2nd LG tv this year. Highly recommend.

Like the C4 after one week
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrific TV so far. Great sharpness in 4K and peak colors in HDR. Good up scaling on lower quality broadcasts. Minor gripe: wish the remote and OS were less fussy - unclear when pointer works vs when you have to navigate/select with cursor in different apps.

Open box experience has been terrible.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dayton Mall Best Buy let me buy an open box LG C4 that was a display model. They marked the quality as "Open Box - Excellent", but when I got there, it was missing the box, all accessories, stand, etc. It should have been marked fair, if anything. Regardless, I rent a van, I spend 3 hours transporting it and the van to and from Home Depot. I plug the TV in... It doesn't work... Geek Squad is super helpful and the guys that came by to try to fix it did order parts and attempt to fix, but could not solve it. So now I'm out over $100 in gas and rental fees and materials to transport. Online support can only help get it returned and refunded. They told me to contact the store to see if they can do more, but guess what - you can't actually call the stores. The Geek Squad guys even tried to contact the Dayton Mall Best Buy to see why they sold a TV that was in "as bad a shape as this" in their words. Shame on me for not doing more due dillegence, but I just feel like I wasted a ton of money for nothing, weeks waiting for a solution, with nothing to show for it. Support is now telling me I have to spend more money to buy a box that fits it and put a shipping label on it. Uhhh. No.

Posted .Hi, Justin. Thank you for reaching out and sharing what happened with your LG TV (OLED83C4PUA) model. We understand the importance of receiving a product that matches its listed condition. If your TV won't power on after setup, check the power connection at the outlet and the TV's rear panel to ensure the cord is securely plugged in. Loose connections can prevent the TV from turning on, especially if the cables are frequently handled. For more guidance, visit https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-tv-power-my-tv-wont-turn-on--20154763472499. We’d like to take a closer look at your experience. Great TV, but the Remote is very frustrating
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We returned this TV because the remote control drove us crazy, and seemed to be possessed, the PBS app is not compatible with the operating system, and the connection to the sound bar (ARC) never did work properly. We later discovered that the issue was the TV wanted an eARC signal, but our sound bar was ARC, which is “supposed”!to be compatible. The LG OLED picture quality was great. We replaced this Ztv with a Sony Bravia 9. Which was 85”. The picture quality is excellent (probably even better that the ZLG OLED), even though it is a miniLED.

Posted .HI, James. We truly appreciate you sharing your experience with the LG TV (OLED83C4PUA) model—even though it didn’t meet your expectations, your feedback helps us improve. We strive to provide high-quality products and ensure a smooth viewing experience.
While eARC is backward compatible with ARC, limitations can occur, especially with audio sync and format support.
We're glad you found a solution that works better for you with the Sony Bravia 9. If you ever give LG another shot in the future, please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport. Salesman needs training.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sales person was overzealous, insincere and inaccurate. I would’ve walked away, except the second gentleman there with long hair and previous experience as an installer saved the day with reasonable and accurate responses that inspired confidence. The delivery and installers were excellent except they arrived over an hour later than then said the would.

Decent TV for the Price I paid, but Disappointing.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After spending all year looking for a TV, I have to say I'm disappointed in this year's crop. I decided to settle on the C4 because BB had an amazing deal last week. I'm not that happy with the PQ. It either looks like an overly blue Computer Monitor or if you calibrate the blue out then it looks like a a dark, muddy mess. As someone who has used an LG TV for 10 yrs, I know how to set an LG TV. I also don't like that LG made it so you can no longer change the Brightness level via a few "hacks." So this TV just feels really dim with a boring picture. Positive of the TV are, even though I think it's a flat, boring picture. It is super clean, with great motion and no obvious flaws. I just wish it was more flexible. At one point it had a real hazy look, no matter what I do, but that issue seems to have correct itself. If you like the LG Picture "Science" then there's no reason not to get this (beyond the ridiculous price), as everything just works on this TV. I encountered no bugs at all and like I said, there's no flaws to the picture other than I just don't like it. Motion works great.
