Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV back in March of this year and was not able to get it installed by BB technicians due to Covid19 restrictions. I finally got someone to come to my home and install it last week and this TV has the absolute worst picture of any TV I have ever owned....fuzzy and washed out...not crisp at all. Sports content looks horrible on this TV. I upgraded from a 4 year old model Samsung 75" to this LG 86" and was hoping for a better picture but I am extremely disappointed. Tried to work with BestBuy to let me exchange it for another more expensive model since was just able to get installed due to Covid19 restrictions, but they said NO to that request to spend more $$ with them.

There are no physical forward or rewind buttons and if the streaming apps doesn't have those onscreen features you are out of luck. Such a case is when you watch a movie on Youtube TV - there's no way to fast forward to rewind to a certain point. In addition the pointing mouse functionality of the remote is ridiculous. While you are streaming a movie if you want to enable the mouse to do fast forward/rewind it suddenly displays the input choices. Once wrong click and it takes you out of your movie and to a different input! Oh well and for some reason Vudu is not working with this TV. It can show commercials just fine but it can not stream movies. Keeps showing streaming errors.

Lights go deemed on it about 45 minutes waiting. I don’t know it’s overrated heating or what. We have to turn T.V. Off for 1 hr to go back to normal. Not happy with it

Great for games, not for dark scenes in movies..

Bright scenes and games look great (games usually brighter anyway) , but when it comes to any kind of dark scene in a movie, ugh! The blacks turn to grays and everything washes out. I've tweaked just about every setting this tv has, it just doesn't have quality black levels. And the FLASHLIGHTING EFFECT!! Come on LG, I've got flashlighting in all four corners and a huge spot in the middle. I know this comes from LED light bleed which is expected to be there to some degree, but I wouldn't expect this much on a 2019 screen of this size and price. As long as I am playing video games that are usually brighter anyway or watching a bright scene in a movie or tv show all is good with this TV, anything dark just looks subpar and almost unwatchable.
