It doesn't have a great picture, I paid for a 86" paperweight because when I called & tried to return this very over priced piece of S#!+ that I was on day 16, & Best Buy said that it's now mine to keep, too late, so sad. Not nice Best Buy, this will be my last Best Buy purchase. All because I bought a low end tv that really is not quality, which when I purchased online, I had no idea this was going to happen. Not to mention I was going to buy a better, more expensive upgrade with a better picture, you guys really should stop selling this model because it's cheap, & not good quality. Overall satisfaction here very very sad :(

Hello there, Belyac. Thank you for sharing your experience with your LG 86UQ7590PUD TV. We understand your inquiry regarding the half of your screen losing color, and we certainly want to assist you with this.

To help determine the cause of the issue, we recommend performing a Picture Test on your TV. This built-in test can help identify if the problem is with the TV's display itself or with the broadcast signal or an external device.

Here's how to access the Picture Test on your 2022 webOS 22 TV:

Press the Settings button on your TV remote.

      Select All Settings.

Navigate to General and then OLED Care (or Support > Additional Settings on some models).

      Select Device Self-Care.

Choose Screen Self-Diagnosis and then Picture Test.

If the test picture appears normally, the issue might be related to your broadcast signal or connected external devices. If the problem persists during the Picture Test, it indicates an issue with the TV itself.

Please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport with your TV's model and serial number, along with the results of your Picture Test, and our team will be more than happy to explore possible solutions.

There should be a no-star option. What a piece of junk. I have never seen light banding so bad in my life it's horizontal and vertical it looks like an LED waffle that you can clearly see through the screen in every scene every brightness or darkness level it is just disgusting that this thing was allowed to be sold as it is. What a piece of trash stay away is all I can say.

Put this in our downstairs finished basement. My first reaction was it’s HUGE! It’s great for movies and boyfriend loves gaming on it - don’t know if I can enjoy a smaller screen now lol . Picture is great we have on a sound system so I don’t have an opinion on the tv sound.

This TV is ENORMOUS! I hooked it up with a couple of speakers from Apple HomePod and my home is now like a mini theater. I don’t like going out to movies much anymore, so this is perfect for movies! We also have enjoyed sports of all kinds. I took one star away as some darker movies seem really dark… like you can’t see certain things. It does have a vivid setting that we use that solves it for the most part. Overall this was a fantastic purchase!

You're really paying more for the size than the quality here. Brightness isn't the best in an ok-lit room, but passable. You can see the lighting zones sometimes, but in general looks pretty good. There are better quality 75 inch TVs at the same price but at this size for the 1k it is not a bad deal. 120hz is an awesome feature to have as well. WebOS kinda sucks but most TVs do better with a Chromecast or other.

Great price on what feels like a movie screen. The built in features are cool including the picture in picture option although it needs refinement in terms of controlling one side or the other. It's not the sharpest image I've seen but I knew that going in to this purchase (not an OLED). We were interested in longevity and size going into this purchase and won't have to worry about burn in on this TV. Color depth is okay and the AI tools are useful when it comes to lighting. It also looks great when gaming, but is only 120hz with eligible devices. This is a good middle of the pack runner but you can't beat it for the price.

For the money this is an amazing tv! I will say that LGs quality control is pretty bad. The first tv I bought had 3 holes in the screen and we had to bring it back to bestbuy for a replacement, I had them check the tv before I left the store. And the 2nd tv was also damaged but 3rd tv was fine 3rd time was a charm. My only complaint about this tv is the remote sucks. But I guess that’s what you get when you buy an 86” tv for under 1020$ many may disagree about the magic remote but I love it and ended up buying the LG magic remote model number:MR23GN off of Amazon from the LG store (beware of crappy dupes) for 24.95$ and it paired up no problem in minutes and works as it should!

This 86-inch beast has transformed my basement into the ultimate entertainment zone. The picture quality is excellent and the size is absolutely perfect for creating that immersive viewing experience I was after. Paired with my sound system, it's like having a personal theater downstairs. The webOS interface is smooth and user-friendly, making it easy to navigate between streaming apps and settings. Picture clarity is sharp and colors look vibrant, even in my basement lighting. My only real complaint is the remote control, which feels like it came from a dollar store. For a TV this size and price point, you'd expect something that doesn't feel like it might break if you look at it wrong. It works fine, but the build quality is surprisingly cheap.

Exchanged this tv vs the Vizio 75 inch OLED which was broken upon delivery. And it was out of stock afterwards.. I’m torn between a 4 or 5 star rating. I’d say its very good at 4.5 stars! The picture quality is great considering it doesn’t define deep blacks with clear definition however that’s not the core purpose of an UHD direct lit display. Their product is about value! As such my review focuses on the question, is this tv absolutely worth the money? My answering is yes as long you understand the products limitations based on its features and technology. If you want a superior picture then add $700 to $1000 plus for an OLED or QLED or Nanocell. Oh I must say the tv has a tremendous amount of features!!!

    Great living room tv!

Bought this for my first apartment and I have loved it! The settings and customization you can do within the TV settings is vast, much more than I would have expected. I use the TV for streaming and occasional console gaming with my PS5. The game enhancing feature is great at mitigating the delay you can feel with game controllers on bigger screen TVs. The TV will also automatically detect if you are watching a movie, gaming, etc and ask you to adjust the picture and settings to best fit what you are doing. I have never had a TV that was able to do that. One very small complaint is just with the weight distribution. The TV is so large and thin that it can wobble easily. You definitely need to be mindful when near it and not do anything crazy that could wobble it. Of course, hanging the TV would solve that as well. Overall, very satisfied!
