Great tv. Picture quality. Responsive.
I'm coming from a Samsung and Hisense tvs

I got this tv twice. So so cuz the edges annoy me. The first tv had a big dark area. The second one has the same thing in spots as shown in picture. The second picture once you notice the areas u can see them in white or bright scenes. Not sure how they got there or how to minimize from getting them. Did have geek squad put it up the second time

HUGE Screen, not great in a bright room but it’s an LED vs OLED so that isn’t that big of a deal. Sound, apps and most everything is great, except for the light banding issue…..
The issue I’ve had is the light banding , vertical LED lights lines throughout the screen, which cast like a shadow for each one… And there’s quite a few on a screen this size. I had the screen replaced via the Warranty but the repair guy said LGs lights are vertical throughout the screens vs Samsungs being on the boarder so it’s more noticeable. Even after having the screen replaced I am still dealing with light banding. I notice it most when it’s a bright scene or when it’s really dark scene and they’re a bright transition.
Super annoying issue that just seems to be existing and can’t be fixed. Support is a nightmare to deal with, website is a hassle to just get a ticket submitted then working with support was So, So. The tech they sent out was great!!! This is my first LG and so far I’m not impressed and will probably go back to Samsungs going forward.
