Heavy percieved light bleed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Heavy percieved light bleed. I had seen others with this issue and hoped I wouldn't have it. But I do. I tried using settings to minimize it. But that didn't help much. It's not actual light bleed, but some sort of light morié effect that changes depending on your position in front of the screen. Due to this, I believe this model has a technological production issue. It's definitely not of the same construction as the 70-75" LG models.

Do not buy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Whatever you do, do not buy an LG. This is my second time purchasing a LG TV. The first time I did, I returned it because it was already glitching. This time I bought it on the advice of a Best Buy employee. Well, I got it home and up on the wall. About 4 weeks later I turned it on to find two strips of the LCD screen have went out. Of course best but won’t take it back. Called LG and they said they’d send someone out. It’s been three weeks and still can’t get anyone to fix it!!! Look at the pictures below

This TV sucks!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It doesn't have a great picture, I paid for a 86" paperweight because when I called & tried to return this very over priced piece of S#!+ that I was on day 16, & Best Buy said that it's now mine to keep, too late, so sad. Not nice Best Buy, this will be my last Best Buy purchase. All because I bought a low end tv that really is not quality, which when I purchased online, I had no idea this was going to happen. Not to mention I was going to buy a better, more expensive upgrade with a better picture, you guys really should stop selling this model because it's cheap, & not good quality. Overall satisfaction here very very sad :(

Don’t purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has barely been 2 years since I mounted this Tv up. Half of my screen has lot color. Very disappointing.

Posted .Hello there, Belyac. Thank you for sharing your experience with your LG 86UQ7590PUD TV. We understand your inquiry regarding the half of your screen losing color, and we certainly want to assist you with this.
To help determine the cause of the issue, we recommend performing a Picture Test on your TV. This built-in test can help identify if the problem is with the TV's display itself or with the broadcast signal or an external device.
Here's how to access the Picture Test on your 2022 webOS 22 TV:
Press the Settings button on your TV remote.
Select All Settings.
Navigate to General and then OLED Care (or Support > Additional Settings on some models).
Select Device Self-Care.
Choose Screen Self-Diagnosis and then Picture Test.
If the test picture appears normally, the issue might be related to your broadcast signal or connected external devices. If the problem persists during the Picture Test, it indicates an issue with the TV itself.
Please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport with your TV's model and serial number, along with the results of your Picture Test, and our team will be more than happy to explore possible solutions.

Junk the worst light banding I have ever seen in m
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There should be a no-star option. What a piece of junk. I have never seen light banding so bad in my life it's horizontal and vertical it looks like an LED waffle that you can clearly see through the screen in every scene every brightness or darkness level it is just disgusting that this thing was allowed to be sold as it is. What a piece of trash stay away is all I can say.

Big TV - and it's awesome!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Put this in our downstairs finished basement. My first reaction was it’s HUGE! It’s great for movies and boyfriend loves gaming on it - don’t know if I can enjoy a smaller screen now lol . Picture is great we have on a sound system so I don’t have an opinion on the tv sound.

HUGE!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is ENORMOUS! I hooked it up with a couple of speakers from Apple HomePod and my home is now like a mini theater. I don’t like going out to movies much anymore, so this is perfect for movies! We also have enjoyed sports of all kinds. I took one star away as some darker movies seem really dark… like you can’t see certain things. It does have a vivid setting that we use that solves it for the most part. Overall this was a fantastic purchase!

Big screen, quality is fine for the price
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You're really paying more for the size than the quality here. Brightness isn't the best in an ok-lit room, but passable. You can see the lighting zones sometimes, but in general looks pretty good. There are better quality 75 inch TVs at the same price but at this size for the 1k it is not a bad deal. 120hz is an awesome feature to have as well. WebOS kinda sucks but most TVs do better with a Chromecast or other.

A very large cheapish TV that does the body good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great price on what feels like a movie screen. The built in features are cool including the picture in picture option although it needs refinement in terms of controlling one side or the other. It's not the sharpest image I've seen but I knew that going in to this purchase (not an OLED). We were interested in longevity and size going into this purchase and won't have to worry about burn in on this TV. Color depth is okay and the AI tools are useful when it comes to lighting. It also looks great when gaming, but is only 120hz with eligible devices. This is a good middle of the pack runner but you can't beat it for the price.

I love Best buy
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bringing home my new TV has completely transformed the way I watch movies, play games, and even unwind after a long day. The picture quality is nothing short of breathtaking—colors are rich and vibrant, blacks are deep, and the clarity makes every scene feel like it’s happening right in front of me. Whether I’m streaming the latest blockbuster or watching live sports, the motion is incredibly smooth and lifelike.

Excellent, I'd buy it again.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent TV for gaming and movies. I used Xbox and Playstation apps to watch and found that the picture quantity wasn't great. I started to use TV apps and picture quality is now perfect. Not sure if it was operator error but really didn't need to revisit picture quality. I would buy this TV again if I had to. I am a part time gamer and still the best TV to date for me.

READ BEFORE BUYING
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the money this is an amazing tv! I will say that LGs quality control is pretty bad. The first tv I bought had 3 holes in the screen and we had to bring it back to bestbuy for a replacement, I had them check the tv before I left the store. And the 2nd tv was also damaged but 3rd tv was fine 3rd time was a charm. My only complaint about this tv is the remote sucks. But I guess that’s what you get when you buy an 86” tv for under 1020$ many may disagree about the magic remote but I love it and ended up buying the LG magic remote model number:MR23GN off of Amazon from the LG store (beware of crappy dupes) for 24.95$ and it paired up no problem in minutes and works as it should!

Incredible value for a LG 86 inch TV
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Exchanged this tv vs the Vizio 75 inch OLED which was broken upon delivery. And it was out of stock afterwards.. I’m torn between a 4 or 5 star rating. I’d say its very good at 4.5 stars! The picture quality is great considering it doesn’t define deep blacks with clear definition however that’s not the core purpose of an UHD direct lit display. Their product is about value! As such my review focuses on the question, is this tv absolutely worth the money? My answering is yes as long you understand the products limitations based on its features and technology. If you want a superior picture then add $700 to $1000 plus for an OLED or QLED or Nanocell. Oh I must say the tv has a tremendous amount of features!!!
