Coming from a higher end Sony 70" to this TV it has a slightly noticeable picture quality difference. The Sony was $800 more and alot smaller however. but with full array lighting this TV is excellent for the price

I watch it turned up on vivid, eye popping. Anyway you won't be disappointed and anything else will seem small compared to this giant.
