As the title says, if you are someone who cares enough about what tv you are purchasing to read reviews and compare models, learn from my mistake and AVOID this tv. I purchased this tv to replace our 65" Samsung UN65NU7100 while finishing renovating our living room. It's the first LG TV I have ever purchased and I am sorry to say I do not like it. Sadly we have had it for around three weeks now which is a week out of the return period, so we are stuck with it. I want to give it a fair review though, so I will say that I gave it two stars instead of one because the tv actually has quite a few great features spec wise especially for the price. The 120hz panel looks great under most daytime conditions and the pixel response is what I would call acceptable for a tv (and better than even some monitors I have tested) using ufotest. Having two HDMI 2.1 ports is really great as well. The build quality externally also is great and I have no complaints there. I am using a wall mount and a surround sound setup, so I can't comment on the included stands or the internal speakers. The one glaring and amazingly horrible issue with this TV is the backlight. It is absolutely atrocious. Coming from an edgelit Samsung I thought directlit would be an upgrade as we didn't want to spring for a full array local dimming panel, but having this thing here now I wish we had spent the extra money and I would be more than willing to do so to get away from how bad this thing looks. In bright high contrast images you can easily see each backlight zone making images on screen look weird and inconsistent, and in a dark environment things get even worse. The flashlighting of this panel is horrendous and I am not exaggerating when I say it is the worst I have ever seen on a display. I have tried tuning the backlight settings based on some online posts I have seen addressing this issue, but to little improvement. I'm sorry to say I am extremely disappointed with this panel given that LG's desktop panels are some of the nicest out there. I am reminded nightly of how bad it is whenever we watch any sort of content and it really makes me regret this purchase. The spotty backlight makes images on screen look really inconsistent and there is no such thing as a black image on this screen. Best you get is a splotchy medium grey mess. We will be replacing this one as soon as we have the budget to do so. Like I can't overstate just how bad it is; and I know this is a "budget" 86in display, but I have never seen any other budget tv's that have as awful of a backlight as this one even in the sub $300 range. LG needs to get their QC game together, because this level of bad backlighting is what I would expect from an early lcd tv from 20 years ago, not something new. Overall I would say if you are going to only use this tv in a bright environment, you will probably be less likely to notice how bad dark scenes look and for me personally I could live with it if the only issue was seeing the lighting zones during some bright scenes, but as we watch a lot of movies at night, I really wish we had purchased something different. Also, and it may just be ours, but there is some kind of small dark spot on the right hand side of the display. where it looks like some LED's could possibly be dead or something. I didn't notice it for the first two weeks of use, but now I can't unsee it. It doesn't appear very well in pictures, but it is much more visible in person. I noticed it during gameplay with Breath of the Wild where the grass is really bright on screen and was like "What is that dark spot on this side?" I will post pictures of the issues with my panel for others who may be considering this tv. I would persuade you to look elsewhere unless you are putting this in a lobby of a business or something where it will only be viewed during the day with lots of ambient light in the room.

Best purchase ever! I love all of the features, very easy to use. Surprisingly the TV wasn't difficult to mount. I've had this TV for a year now and my experience has been awesome. I'd definitely recommend to everyone.

I bought this to replace the 75-inch Samsung my kids broke. I assumed it was going to be an "ok" alternative but fully expected the picture would not be as good as the Samsung that was a top of the line $2500 model. I WAS WRONG! The picture on this TV is amazing. Crytal clear and the colors are so rich it is liking I am watching my old favorites for the first time.

I LOVE my LG - 86” Class UQ75 Series LED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2022)! Great picture quality, great size for big room, and affordable with a no interest Best Buy Card. I recommend getting big speakers for bass. A sound bar doesn’t produce enough for a tv this big.

Had this about a month now. The picture is very good for the price range, the tv speakers leave a lot to be desired so I’d definitely recommend a sound bar of some kind. For the price, size and picture quality? It’s definitely a great buy.
(FYI) the entertainment center it’s in I built myself

Incredible value in a big screen TV. I bought the TV almost exclusively for viewing sports and it looks great! No dark spots and great clarity. I don't see the need to leap any further ahead in technology when there isn't a lot of 4K content, let alone 8K. LG makes quality products.

Very easy to install. Great picture. Fantastic for our room. Had an 65 inch tv where the picture was great but this is 100% an upgrade to my old plasma tv. Wish it had 1 more HDMI when I looked at the Pictures provided for this TV it showed 4 HDMI.

We love it! What can I say? We're older and my mother is 93 and has immaculate degenerate eye issue and this helps her as well. My husband is legally blind and isn't sitting right on top of a TV anymore! He can see some better! Thank you Best Buy!
