The picture is high quality for being a standard HD television. I do find the Home Screen tends to be glitchy and sluggish . The apps have tendency to fail to launch . But I would give 4 stars for price and picture quality.

I will only buy LG Televisions. We now have this 86 inch as well as our 75 inch. Such a great picture.

This is definitely a budget tv, the panel shows a fairly significant amount of backlight bleed which shows up as a white blotch in the corners. The quality of the picture is fine for me, because my eyes aren't what they used to be. I am still happy with the purchase because I got such a great deal on it, since it was an open box.
