I've got to be honest, this TV has been a monumental let down. I received this TV as a warranty replacement for my Samsung TU9010 86" and the Samsung was better in every way possible, and it was a 3 year older model. There is NOTICABLE back light zones, like if you're watching a blue sky, you can see each backlight zone clearly. There's also some weird backlight bleed at the bottom left of the screen if you're watching a movie with black bars, you see the backlight on the black areas. There has to be a whopping 50 dimming zones I swear. Very bad Dirty Screen Effect. You get very noticable bloom on white objects on black backgrounds. Motion blur is also bad. Resolution is pretty unimpressive even from a 12ft viewing position. LG account integration is impossible with Google Assistant. I've tried for hours on multiple occasions and it constantly says it doesn't detect any devices on the account. My Samsung was seamless. Network speeds are abhorrent. Even with a gig and a half connection speed, I'll still get buffering on occasion even on 1080p60 content, let alone 4k. My Samsung never buffered in the 3 years I owned it. The sound quality is pretty decent however, but you're buying a TV not a sound system. If you're spending your hard earned money on this TV, avoid it like the plague.

The tv is huge, it was an open box purchase but no remote, chatted online with representative who could not reach anyone the store when i was about to install it & informed me to go to the store. Its 1 hour 1 way to the Roseville MI from where i live & when i get there they tell me "Sorry but we can not give a remote & you have to buy a universal remote," even though they probably had multiple remotes sitting some where in the store near the LG display. I ordered the universal remote but then returned it because i found oem remotes elsewhere, an auction site & now the tv works perfectly. I have been a loyal customer for more than 18 years. Its unfortunate but now i know to call & ask to make sure that the remote is there when buying an open box.

I initially purchased the 86” UQ75 which had horrible blooming, bleeding and just an overall dirty screen effect which was very noticeable. I exchanged it for this 86” UT75 and couldn’t be happier. Panel is universal. Picture great. Awesome color. The only con I have with this tv is its operating system. It’s very slow and sluggish. Though not necessarily a deal breaker for me, I would have liked if the tv didn’t take 10-15 seconds to turn on. Or take 3-4 seconds for any other button to work such as the setting button and the back key. Hence the 4/5 star.

my lg tv looks amazing and the size is perfect. watching movies on a lg tv is a game changer.

Television of very good sound quality highly recommended for use

This TV is amazing!! It’s huge! 86 inches! The picture quality is so clear. The sound is also clear and loud. We were thinking to get a sound bar but may not even need one. The remote is really cool- takes a minute to get used to the “magic” remote- it has like a ball on it like BlackBerry used to. The smart features are great! It has the apps already downloaded and on the remote- we don’t even need our fire stick anymore. We bought a $50 bracket to add to wall but it does come with two legs to stand on.

I’m extremely happy with my LG UHD AI TV. The size is perfect, especially for the price, and the picture quality exceeded my expectations. And the picture is so crisp and clear that it looks like I can climb into the screen. The speakers and volume are pretty great as well without a surround sound system. Great quality, picture and sound. Screen size supports ambiance for movie night with the family. While apps already installed, the ease of navigating Roku is amazing. Overall, satisfied customer.
