Had a few issues getting it to read the Blu-Ray disks, but after updating one thing it now works

it looks like a high quality dvd rewriter but is pretty slow

Not a bad unit but the part where the USB plugs in the back of the drive seemed awfully loose and it concerned me that it would fall apart or wear out quickly just from simply moving it around. I also ran into a problem as this was supposed to be for my Mac Mini. When I plugged it in I could not boot the Mac Mini with it attached I had to detach it just so that it would come up cleanly. One additional thing is that the drive is exceptionally lightweight which means that unless it's sitting flat on a surface it's very difficult to eject a CD or to mount one. So if you're thinking about putting it on top of say a Mac Mini trying to remove or place a CD or a DVD on the tray results in tipping it and pulling on the cord. I know that sounds like I'm nitpicking but it definitely made the case for purchasing a unit that has a slot driven feature, similar to the one designed by Apple. There was also considerable vibration from the unit which got old quickly,

it is just not realty compatible like a mac. Like i had to get a usb splitter to plug it into the mac

This is a very good Blue Ray capable DVD reader\writer. Love the USB connection. Very seamless playing for USB connection.

only took a few minutes to setup after my laptop recognized the additional drive. played a Blue Ray DVD picture sound were very good.

Purchased this has laptop has no dvd drive. There are times this is needed and this item meets all my needs.

LG is a Good & trustworthy brand & it works simply with a great video quality. I will be buying another one for my other PC

Great blue ray player for on the go usability. So far it has done what it does great.

This was the cheaper way to replace a broken disk drive in my desktop. The only downfall is that it requires 2 USB ports to run.

It's little pricy side but it works well & bundled s/w are good also

Not a bad blu ray burner, you have two have 2 USB available to run it.

This is a good product which works well with my laptop. It would be better if it can update to usb 3.0.
