The LG Blu-ray player worked flawlessly and was installed rapidly and without difficulty by my Surface - I take it with my Surface traveling and it allows me to watch movies if desired and burn discs as needed.

Purchased this external hard drive for Surface Pro 4. I read a number of reviews and couldn't find much in the way of a USB 3.0 or higher at a reasonable price. This product said 2.0 and 3.0 compatible and indicated there reduced speed for 3.0. We haven't noticed any negative impact. There were a variety of options for storage, but not much for CDs. We are not using this for storage yet, but it is used daily for text book companion CDs and books on tape. Slim design and smooth playing/no skips.

Simple hook-up and installation procedures. Light weight and fits easily into your computer case. Uploading or downloading made easy and fast. Plays great dvd or game quality.

My grandson and I use this in my craft room. He can watch his movies and I can craft away. It is compact, so easy to take with us on vacation and hook up to my computer.

This drive is the best drive I ever bought. Its light its fast and super affordable. I am able to use all the backup and recording software with this drive . Its a super buy.

Works great! It is lightweight and easy to use. Potential downsides: the cable it comes with is slightly confusing (it has two USB heads?), and the instructions aren't clear or detailed. You can pretty much figure out how it works, but still. However, the software it comes with is super quick to install and from there, it is easy to use.

This is a great external drive for your laptop. It is easy to set up and works great for viewing blu rays as well as burning and ripping cd's.

Excellent BD player small in size big in performance. Comes with nice software bundle, but I would recommend adding a better suite.

I basically just plugged it in and started using it, no setup required. Works great and price is very reasonable. Used mainly for creating backup copies of my Blu Ray disks.

It's a good DVD+-RW/CD-RW Disc Rewrite. We have no problem with it.

Great player if you’re looking to play BluRays & DVD’s. I have not tried to burn anything yet. It’s a bit noisy & shaky. I’m glad it worked on my old Gateway.

I was looking for a good solid blu-ray player for my computer. I don't like opening up my computer so this external option was perfect. Price was great too!

I've relied upon my built-in Super Drive on my iMac for all of my DVD & CD needs, and have never really thought about Blu-Ray until I wanted to start backing up my discs. So I did some research and price comparisons before landing on this little amazing machine. It doesn't get any easier: plug and go! I use Handbrake (there's great instructions out there on how to make it "see" your BR discs) and it works like a charm. The unit is plastic but incredibly small and solid feeling. The eject button is a bit small (my only issue) but I also have large hands / fingers.

Runs as it should. Smooth Blu-ray playback. Typical noise during playback, not enough to be a bother.

This was an inexpensive and easy way to add a Blu-Ray disk player to my new computer. It was very easy to install this device. The only trick I ran into was that an HDMI connection to the monitor was needed to play Blu-Ray disks on the computer. My monitor had an old VGA cable to attach to the computer and I needed to change this for an HDMI cable. Once I made this upgrade, the External Blu-Ray device worked great. I'm glad I added this to my computer.

This compact little device allows me to watch Blu Ray and DVD movies on my pc. Works well and was very easy to get up and running.
