    Purchased unit - defective, would not close the burn - returned it and went with a different brand I've had LG products before and think very highly of their line of electronics, so this must be a rare situation.

    Requires 2 USB ports that are right next to each other which I don't have. Mine aren't next to each other. Not even the box is clear as to needing the 2 USB ports. I will be returning.

    It says the drive is for MAC but there is no driver provided for mac. It does not work with most of the TVs

    This is a slow performer, also it is not compatible with blu ray movies, this is a hurry up and wait type of product. not well executed. the tray is hard to open and becuase this this is so light you have to hold it while trying to install a disc.

    They told me it's just a plug and download, wasn't so went through a very hard time to get just the download menu, then I come to find out the boy-ray isn't installed you have to pay for another program in order to see blu-ray movies...I wouldn't recommend anyone to by this product it's a waste of money and it doesn't even play right.

    I have the HP X360 Convertible & only have 2 usb ports. One is USB 2.0, and the other is USB 3.0. I have a notebook, and only have 2 usb ports. I was told by the representatives that helped me with my purchases at Best Buy that it would work great. I don't know if they understood that what I have only has two USB ports.

    Does Not play Blu-ray as advertised. Tried to return it but was too late. Returned to LG but still did not play Blu-ray. I had given up on LG players.

    Couldn't make it work

    I couldn't make a single blu-ray disc load and play. Too many "protective codes." Tried a number of web based recommendations - none worked. Took it back to BB and bought a standard optical RW disk drive. So when I want to play a BR disk - I'll just use my TV's connected device. Return policy at BB is great.

    Do not buy anything from LG, I plugged my product up to my computer, and it didn’t even read the disk. Can’t even begin to use it, avoid LG!

    Only worked for about a Month. Comes with a 1-year warranty but LG won't honor it. Better off getting any other external drive

    NOTHING in the description mentions the idiot USB power scheme that forces you to use up TWO slots and doesn't even provide a long enough cord to plug the second one in!!!
