This is an outstanding External USB BluRay Reader/Writer. Its powerful & very compact. I would definitely purchase this again if necessary.

I just connected it to my Windows 10 PC and it worked perfectly. I had some Blu-Ray disc's that had information I needed to retrieve and this worked without problem. I actually had an internal Blu-Ray disc reader/writer but it would have been more expensive and not as convenient to get an external case for the reader/writer to get it hooked up to my PC. This gets connected to TWO USB ports, to supply the needed power and to transfer data to my PC. No external power brick needed. Can't get easier than that.

Great for blue-ray when streaming access is weak. Very quiet and simple to use with multi,- blue ray types of dvds.

I just love this Blu-Ray player, plays my Blu-Ray collection wonderfully and it's nice & thin.

Does a good job. Was easy to install and still working fine after month of use.

Since I do not have a CD drive on my laptop, having this item makes things easier. It very lightweight and easy to use.

So I have a old MacBook with a USB port and it was the perfect player to buy because it can not only play DVDs but BluRays as well (with the included software) and I use this to rip movies with MakeMKV to save on my computer whenever I take my computer on the go so this is the best drive that you can buy!

So far this has been a great player. Only gripe is I wish it came with software to actually play the disks. You have to pay $30-50 for a seperate program to actually watch a blu ray disk. You won't need an seperate program to do the other functions.

So far the burner/Blu-ray player has worked great. I like how portable the unit is. It's excellent for laptops.

Quick connect...I have used this writer to make data discs, music CD...and backup copies never an issue. Used in Windows 10 and Mac environment.

Inexpensive and easy to use. Not the fastest option out there but also by no means the most expensive. Overall, a good external Blu-ray/DVD Drive.

I found this blu-ray Rewriter to be easy to install. Worked without any problems. Rewriter is easy to use & works as good as I expected. Now for playback for blu-rays you get software for cyber link power dvd 12. The only problem I found out was you can not adjust the color saturation you have whatever the dvd gives you. Most of the blu-rays I have played so far are low on color saturation. I found I need to get dvd 16 to be able to adjust color saturation thats $70.00.

Everything I expected and then some. Great devise, super small and easily portable. Plays smooth with no skips, delays, etc. Love this. Which we had bought it sooner

Simple easy quick setup, good performance and consistent operation with my Windows 10 laptop. Works great with older DVD's as well as Blue Ray discs.

Perfect! New laptops don’t have a cd/dvd reader and the federal government gives out cds! lol. It performs flawlessly and I would recommend this to anyone with the dvd/cd need. It’s design is amazing and very easy to install and use. I would buy again and recommend you too as well

My CD drive went belly up in my desktop system. Either that or a windows 10 update rendered it useless. The choice was another internal burner or an external. External seemed to be the way to go since it could be used on other systems. The drive works flawlessly and isn't that much more expensive than a DVD drive. If you are transferring high def video to disk, then a blu ray drive is a must. This one is a good one and for another $50 over a regular DVD drive, it allows you to burn more useful higher density disks.

this item works very well.IT was easy to install and operates very smoothly.

It is great! Works good with Blu Ray DVDs and burn CDS well. I really do rather internal DVD drives but my tower doesn't support it and this is where it comes in play. I hope Best Buy considers stocking better brands instead of LG brands. I heard other brands last better and longer. I had no problem with the DVD Blu Ray Slim. Hope there will be other brands in the later future.
