I purchased this in order to rake my vacation pictures/movies from my pc to a bluray dis. It is working well.

This is a perfect complement to the Apple Air laptop which does not have an internal drive. Plays DVDs as well.

this probably works better with pc's but with the Apple you have to make extra steps to get it to work. Does not tell you in the guide what to do for Apples.

Simple to run out of the box, but required additional downloads for Win 8.1 Compact design and very functional

We needed an external bluray player. it was very well priced. Haven't used it yet but so far so good.

This is great to take on the road and works well for a busy traveler like me. Little tricky to coordinate with a touch screen laptop, though

I am a Mac user I don't have a CD drive on my Mac Air so I figure I buy an external DVD player. I wish that there was in bold letters that the Blu-ray DVD's doesn't play unless you buy an additional software for Mac users. It works perfectly fine with regular DVDS. The CD writer work good on my Mac. This is a decent DVD player, but that only thing I don't like is buying the additional software to play my Blu-rays DVD's.

Made dvd picture disk, watched blue ray movies, used for data backup. Overall good player DOWNSIDE: takes 2 usb ports for true 3.0 usage

Somewhat sensitive to movement. Description should clearly state that it requires 2 USB ports.

This DVD/BluRay burner is amazing! I had one at one time that was slow but this one is SO much better. It burns disc much faster. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Easy to transport with laptop. Works well playing both CDs and DVDs, will not burn new M disks

This product has a great look and feel to it and works like a charm. I watch a lot of DVD and blu-ray movies on it as I'm working on my computer. Nice product!

This is a great external dvd burner but only reads blu ray so pay attention if you want to write to blu ray as well. Quality & slim drive with quiet operation.

This is my second one--sadly lost the first one while traveling so had to replace it asap! It's perfect for watching movies! No complaints here.

I like the functionlaity .it plays my blue ray and regular cds and dvds.

Got a new mac which did not come with a DVD drive so I got this and am very happy with it. Can watch DVD's play CD's and copy them. Very nice!
