    Very compact and light weight, but seems durable enough. Plan on it using 2 USB ports, due to power needs. Have not tried the Bluray capability, but it is good for DVDs.

    As with most Apple products, MACs seem to work better with other Apple products. I bought this for my iMac 5k. It had intermittent issues and just wasn't that reliable. Of course, Apple isn't that great with Blu-Ray either so it wasn't really a good fit from the start.
