Did not work with my tv which is why I bought it. Took a chance but did not work. Still giving four stars because it worked great on my computer. Box said it my not work on all tv's

Works for most disks. Failed after about a year. Started scratching disks. Takes 2 usb ports. Worked on Mac and PC.

Maybe I didn't not have the right TV, but this didn't work for me. The burn so ends were not too great either

Great for bluray DVDs, works well. Happy with the purchase and would recommend to a friend

i have Samsung TV which I brought from best buy...this player is not working with it. I tried to return it ... But best buy did not accept it...waste of $89. Don't go for this.

My Mac laptop did to recognize the device when I plugged in the USB. I returned it.

The device was not recognized by my computer. Returned it for another product.

Fried my PC, had to reload windows, was not compatible with graphics card.

This drive works well , connected up and played cd's and dvd's with provided software. Unfortunately, they give you cyber dvd 10, which is 4 versions old and does not support blu ray playback unless you upgrade it to do so. I have no other blu ray program on my computer, or any other i can upload, so either i purchase version 14, or have a car that does everything but drive over 20 miles per hour. That's poor marketing A few years ago manufacturers cared and gave you stuff to use their products out of the box. Out of principle, i'm returning it to best buy. I can burn dvd's and play blu-rays on other computers, and burning stuff to blu rays or copying blu rays is not cost effective, so this was just a "nice to have" thing, not need to have. Secondarily, the packaging on all lg drives were crumby, no model numbers to know what i was looking at. I had to go to the check out and have the bb employee scan the different drives to find out skew and the model numbers to know what i had in my hand. It'm giving this 3 stars because i know the drive works, ran quiet, connected without issue, but not full function out of the box.

The laptop was an okay product for college. It is definitely a nice small portable size to carry around in my backpack

The BR player works fine. The only complain I have is that it comes with a CD with lots of software without any explanation of what the different software does, so I ended up installing everything, which may or may not be needed.

You need to install the included software to play Blu-Rays. This software is Windows only. This software cannot be downloaded, so do not lose the disc! In fact, LG has a product page for this, but not a support page. It has 3D, but I've yet to figure that one out. It has a great price. It plays Blu-rays. However, it may not be the best choice for everyone. Would I recommend? I'd advise them to wait until LG supports this.

This will service your needs well and is very slim and portable. As drives of this type go , it is on par with other offerings. This brand has proven very reliable and if you need a USB DVD R/W drive this will be a good choice.

Good product, works fine, no issues - would like to see Best Buy offer a case for the product - for storage purposes, it would be nice if it came with a storage case, or else Best Buy maybe sell corresponding storage cases for the product. The store did not have any displayed next to the product.

Bought mainly to scan my blu-rays to my computer (for verification for VUDU Disc-to-Digital conversion). Works alright. A little clunky at times, and some skipping. Maybe this box got dropped before I bought it? Nothing special, and odd that its more expensive for this than a media blu-ray smart player.
