This is small. It is easy to store. And it works well.

Since my new computer came without a DVD/CD Drive, I bought this DVD Drive. It works great! I recommend that if you are looking for an external DVD drive that you strongly consider this one.

This is easily one of the smallest external optical drives that I have seen. It is slimmer than most, and works well. The cable is a separate part and does not store inside the drive itself, but that is an acceptable tradeoff given the small size.

It works and that is what's important. Using mostly for watching old DVD videos.

This external DVD/CD drive seems "different" to me. I am use to internal drives on my computer. It is taking me a little time to get use to it. I have only used it for putting old programs onto my new computer and haven't used it to burn anything yet. I'd still rather have a built in unit but this one serves my purpose.

This external disk drive is easy to plug in to any available USB port and then immediately functions perfectly. My new rig has no internal dvd drive in it and I was worried some of my older games discs wouldn’t function but everything still works the same. Also works great to burn movies onto dvd. Very satisfied.

So far, so good! It's a very light weight piece of equipment that comes with the necessary Software to install and run it. Upon examination, I realized that this is the same quality that came in my other Laptop and I will be getting another in the near future. It does feel like something I should take care to not drop or break and that makes it a "Delicate Piece of Electronic Hardware!" My next one will be of a sturdier design and material's!

I required an excellent external burner for making copies of an important Meditation and Music CD for my Professional Practice. I asked a well informed Sales Person in my local Best Buy and he suggested this one. LG - 8x External USB Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive Better than the one in my computer that failed. The LG turned out to be my Perfect External Burner. Very affordable price point, as well.
