Need to access historical financial data stored on CDs back when they were commonplace :) Worked great. Thinking of ripping some old music CDs so I can have them handy for the car without depending on streaming all the time.

But the CD drives are outdated and won't play some disks. This drive was inexpensive, works extremely well, and gets me some more time before replacing the beasts.
