Works well. It's slim and quiet. The cable is short, but that works for my setup.

I searched all over for this item until I found it at Best Buy. It did just what I wanted it to do.

I was disappointed when my school laptop didn’t have a DVD player. As a geography teacher, I have a collection of DVD’s of places from around the world. So, I really needed something to play my DVD’s. This came to my rescue! It works great and is easy to use. Only downside is having to install the software on the laptop. Not a normal problem, but since my laptop is school property, I had to obtain a lot of approval to do this.

My computer CD ROM stopped working and I got this as a replacement. It works great and no noise! I was concerned about this. It's portable and great for on the go. The tray is not very strong but my computer wasn't either. Buy the insurance if you are questionable about it.

This external cd rom works very well. I highly recommend it. Very inexpensive.

Bought this cause I fould a bunch of my old burned dvds and cds. It does a great job at reading them dispite all the scratches. The unit is about the size of a portable cd player and VERY light. I very happy this is no longer the superior media.
