Clever Little Device

We were getting ready to drive from Western Oregon to Northeastern Washington and decided to take along a couple of Audio Books on CD. We started looking for the player, even pulled out the manual...nope! We turned to the experts at Best Buy and found a player we could hook up to the car, watched a YouTube on how to install it and voila! We were in business!!

DVD Writer now needed for most new computers

With today's ultrathin laptops and micro mini desktops, one needs one for most computers. Even my larger all-in-one does not have a DVD drive, so I own several of this particular LG writer.

A great product at an amazing price

Appears to work very well. No issues with it. Purchased on sale for around $15, which is about as inexpensive as ANYTHING I've ever bought as a computer accessory including plain old wire!

Nice little drive

Had a bit of an issue getting Windows Media Explorer to work with it but eventually managed to get them to cooperate. My PC saw this drive with no need for any additional driver installation. A great product and a great value.

Took a star off for the "mechanal flow" disk holder dose not eject smoothly and you have to manually close it. This would be fine except as I mentioned earlier it's light and feels kinda like it could break or not last long. I could be wrong - hopefully but just what I observed. Have not used the write feature yet so can't really rate that part. But it's simple, basic and does the job so far.
