Very easy to use. Just what I was looking for at a reasonable price.

I bought this for my son’s birthday because it was at the top of his wish list. He really likes it. Says it is very fast and has plenty of room for his backups for 3 computers and still has room for his video collection. The price was very good as well.

Bought this on sale as an additional disk drive for my desktop to copy cd's. Using it as a reader and my desktop cd drive as the writer. I have only used this 3 times so far, but seems to do the trick. Using Windows 10, just plug and play. Did not have to install anything more since desktop already had Power2Go for Dell. Physically, the drive seems too light and a bit flimsy, but not a problem since it is just going to be sitting on top of my desktop cpu.

I purchased this because there is no DVD option in my new laptop. I have not used it very much but it's easy to use and reliable. I am pleased with the purchase.

I still like CDs [and DVDs] – especially to play when going to sleep at night and while driving in my old car… this is great to make me new ones to listen to. Also for storing pictures from my old computer. The price was low enough to take a chance on this, and I am very pleased with it. My husband’s new computer had no drive in it so this helps for some old info. Very satisfied.

Great simple drive. Super quiet, fast, slim and reliable. Best deal for the $. Quality cant be beat for the price.

Great compact and super fast, nothing fancy and easy to install

This DVD Writer/Reader is super fast and super slim. Fits in the computer case any I hardly notice it's there.

Luckily these items are not big ticket items, work fines with all my computers when I actually need to read a disc. Great deal for drive.

I have used this DVD drive for making a System Recovery disk for a Dell Inspiron 17 7000 laptop computer and my daughter is using it to play SIMS 4 on the same computer. It is working fine. The computer has only 2 USB ports so we have a 4-port USB hub plugged into one of them and this drive is able to work while plugged into the hub leaving the second USB port for an external hard drive.

I bought this to add a CD Player to my 2021 RAV4, and it worked! Hook to a power source, eject the tray, push and hold the eject button until it blinks and the CD Drive becomes recognized as a USB Flash Drive by the car's audio system. Awesome.

This is also a quality and easy DVD Player!! They should really rename LG DVD Writer AND Player!!! I have had trouble finding a quality DVD player and liked the LG Brand of gadgets. LG labels it a DVD Writer but is also a very quick and easy DVD Player!

External dvd drive. Compact and very easy to use. Works fast

I bought this when it was on sale and it has not let me down. I used this to upload old CDs that I found to my laptop and this worked perfectly. The sound it makes is quiet enough that it didn't disturb me and works fast enough that I had no problems getting through tons of CDs in a short amount of time. It does feel a little flimsy as it is very lightweight, but I've had no problems so far when using it.

The LG-8X external Double -layer DVD+RW Drive was very easy to hook up/install. Love the fact that it is compact.
