Can't Go Wrong With LG

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since I'm "old school" and still like to watch DVD's & Burn CD's, an external drive is often the only alternative on most newer laptops. LG is a well known brand and their products should perform and last. Bought this one on sale for $24.99 minus a $10.00 Certificate....so out the door for about $17.00. That'll work for me any day!!! (Rated it a "4" because I haven't actually used it yet, but have no doubt it'll be as good as my other one of the same brand/model.)

Nice little drive

Had a bit of an issue getting Windows Media Explorer to work with it but eventually managed to get them to cooperate. My PC saw this drive with no need for any additional driver installation. A great product and a great value.

A great product at an amazing price

Appears to work very well. No issues with it. Purchased on sale for around $15, which is about as inexpensive as ANYTHING I've ever bought as a computer accessory including plain old wire!

Does Its Job!

I use it primarily for watching movies or saving information to disc, and have been completely satisfied with its performance. It's fast, responsive, and is as good as any internal DVD-RW/CD-RW that was included with past laptops that I've owned.

It does a great job at reading them dispite all the scratches. The unit is about the size of a portable cd player and VERY light. I very happy this is no longer the superior media.
