Fast Reliable Unit

It has excelled in all functions and faster than the previous internal units in previous laptops. Very good value for the money.

Good for laptop that doesn't have internal dvd

This was on sale and the associate recommended it. There was an issue in the beginning because it would not recognize any disc. I was going to return it and decided to stop by the geek squad with the reader and my laptop. The associate did a quick software download for free (said it was better than software that comes with it,) and it worked perfectly. It is small so I can put it in my laptop bag without adding a lot of weight or bulk.

I needed a way to make backup discs and music DVDs, so I went back to the store and purchased this CD-RW drive. The software disc is included, and once I loaded that I found that making a backup disc, a music disc, or making a copy of a music disc was a siple, straightforward process.
