I have already used it several times with flawless results. Its only drawback is that it won’t read blue ray, but that’s no consequence to me since I never played blue ray on a laptop. You can get one that reads blue ray, but it costs more than twice as much—not worth the extra expense imo. This one does everything I need.

The only "issue" I had with is was that you really need to push down quite hard on the disk to get it to snap onto the post of the drive. It feels like you are pushing too hard, but it really does take a bit of pressure to get the disk to snap onto the post. Getting it off is pretty easy. After you do it once or twice, you get used to it... Again, does what it needs to do. Used on Surface Book 2

Play A Song For Me

Compact, portable and fast reads AND writes. I use this with my new HP laptop since slim laptops no longer have built in DVD readers.
