It works very well and is simple to use. I wondered how good it would actually work for how inexpensive it was but it really does the job.

It comes with software if needed, though I prefer one of the many free apps online. I dont use DVDs much, but at this price it's good to know I can burn a DVD when the need arises.

GREAT DEVICE

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was a very pleasant surprise…They do not Build in these DVD/CD burner/players into a laptop anymore…I need this because I prefer to do my taxes with TurboTax on a CD. This is literally for anyone, you don’t even have to think about it plug it in and it plays no problem so glad I bought this, it truly works perfectly!

Great for short term DVD needs on modern laptops

This has allowed them to install software for my class without going through the proectect internet. I use it on W10 systems, MAC's and Chrome Books.
