It was needed for my new laptop. Was a great value and works great.

Works as it should, although I had to get an app from the app store to play dvds, maybe thats just me idk. Nevertheless it does the job, and its good if you need a cheap little dvd or cd drive for your pc. Also keep in mind, on the back of the box it has a cancer warning, but that maybe because of just some of the parts on the inside that causes it. So far I havent had any cancer symptoms that I could see.

The DVD Drive fit exactly what I needed. My last USB drive finally died. This unit was reasonably priced and had all the features to do the job. It's flexible with the USB connection, so will work with all three of the computers I have. Worked perfectly from the start.

always had a laptop with DVD/RW/CD RW Drive but very difficult to find now. So thought I would just get the accessory. Works the same way just plug in to laptop. When you open pkg shows should have a cd with it. The CD is actually in the player

Easy to setup, pretty darn fast burning and reading. Bought it because the laptop a family member uses does not have an optical drive. I've bought other LG drives in the past and get about 2 years of hard use out of them. He should get much longer life. Only had to update firmware , drivers updated themselves. Included software is OK.

Simple to use and well made. A must have as my laptop has no CD/DVD drive. I was able to install some old PC games on my new laptop, and also listen to the music and watch the movies that I have in my collection.

Bought this drive for my son as the new computers don't have the drives built in anymore. As a teacher this work great and he loved it. He got to show his French class a Grinch movie in French for the last few days before Christmas. He said it worked great! Now he will be able to back up his files and he said it was very easy to set up!
