Worked great right out of the box, easy to set up and to use.

This is a very easy product to install. There is no download needed. Just plug it into your computer and you’re ready to play any DVD. I can also run it from my TV. Again easy to install. I have recommended this product to friends.

I bought this for a friend for Xmas. More and more laptops are being made without built-in cd/dvd drives, most people don't have a need for them....until you do. My good friend got a newer gaming laptop last year in April, it didn't have a cd/dvd drive. He's one of those people who likes playing older games and needed a way to access them off of their CDs. This was a great purchase for him. He's had nothing but good things to say about it. No issues.

Its a good cd and dvd player. I use use it to watch Redbox movies every so often. If I was going to use it often, I would invest a bit more and get the step up whoch is the silver one. This is a plastic base player that has a tray that comes out to load the disk but the silver one is a metal base player that takes in the cd instead of using a tray. for anyone using it everyday that one is more durable. Otherwise this one is good for basic and regular use

I recently purchased a Lenovo 910 2 in 1 laptop without a dvd drive. Since I rarely use dvds/cds I wasn't concerned about not having one. However, a family member recently converted old 8 mm movies to dvd and I wanted to view on my new laptop! The Best Buy salesperson helped me pick this one out. It was easy to set up and use, and I'm pleased to learn that it also works with my iMac (although I've yet to test that functionality).

Functions well on my computer. DVD drive is excellent and functions beautifully as advertised. I also have an old lap top computer that does not have the appropriate software and it does not work on that devise. But that is a problem with my lap top. If you want to use it with an old lap top computer, check to make sure that it is compatible with your lap top computer.

Needed something small, this works great fast easy and cheap.

Many new computers lack this particular unit and this is an inexpensive fix DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive

since many laptops don't have a DVD burner the rep offered me this USB external disk drive have Roxio Suite as soon as I plug it in Windows recognizes thee drive it updated as soon as i plugged it in and burns and is accurate came with its own suite of drivers and software for $20 dollars money well spent

Compact, very easy to install, lightweight, convenient

Very happy with this device. Been using it to burn back up files to disc. I never used the software that came with it. Most PCs can burn to disc without it. Plus there are better software out there to get the job done.
