Just what I needed.

They suggested purchasing an external drive from someplace like Best Buy. I took their advice, went to Best Buy, and with the assistance of a knowledgeable agent, my problem was solved at a cost of under $45. This was a pleasurable experience.

Review of LG external CD/DVD player/burner

It's very hard to find a CD/DVD player in a laptop currently so at a minimal cost you can add this player/burner and watch movies and listen to CD's on this excellent unit. It simply attaches to your laptop with a USB plug. Great product.

It helps me with programs that needs to be downloaded from a disk and the item is at a affordable price. This item will be the same item I'll buy next time to replace the old one.

Great Dvd/CD drive

Well never fear Best Buy took care of me quick! For just a few dollars I got this wonderful Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive which was basically plug n play, it worked instantly and very fast! I highly recommend this to anyone who needs one, this is it! Thank you Best Buy yet again

Now a days laptops don’t even have disc drives and neither do desktop computers, I’m not sure about all in one PC’s but digital content is the future. For those people who still want to install music, software, drivers or an OS from a disc, this will be the option for you.

Nice cd/dvd drive.

The tray is somewhat fragile but I do use it with some care. Its small and easy to transport. Works fine.

Great CD player for laptops w/o built-in player
