I purchased my New all in one computer from best buy and I needed a CD burner. Well never fear Best Buy took care of me quick! For just a few dollars I got this wonderful Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive which was basically plug n play, it worked instantly and very fast! I highly recommend this to anyone who needs one, this is it! Thank you Best Buy yet again

Nice extension to any laptop. It's very hard to find a CD/DVD player in a laptop currently so at a minimal cost you can add this player/burner and watch movies and listen to CD's on this excellent unit. It simply attaches to your laptop with a USB plug. Great product.

I feel so old since I remember when laptops used to come with Disk Drives. But, its nice to know you can still get a quality DVD+RW/CD-RW Drive to plug into any available USB slot. This was just what I needed as I work to transfer all my music CDs to digital, because there isn't a cd player in the house anymore either!

I both guy it for a computer that had no DVD player. This is the best one. Cheap and fast.

Good product at a good price. I needed a DVD drive for the laptop and this works fine.

I use the cd/dvd drive to play music cd's or view old images on cd's or dvd's on both both a desktop and laptop computers. The tray is somewhat fragile but I do use it with some care. Its small and easy to transport. Works fine.

So glad I have this, perfect while traveling and wanting to pop in a dvd.

I purchased a CD recently but no longer had a built in cd player since I also purchased a new desktop computer around the same time. I looked for options on the Best Buy website. Found this external cd player , which was on sale, and had excellent reviews. Has worked out well so far.

This external DVD drive works great, is small and unobtrusive, and was inexpensive.

Great value and it works right out of the box. Simple plug and play. It comes with software if needed, though I prefer one of the many free apps online. I dont use DVDs much, but at this price it's good to know I can burn a DVD when the need arises.

Inexpensive purchase that works just fine. Fills the gap on a new HP desktop that came with no drive.

The DVD Drive fit exactly what I needed. My last USB drive finally died. This unit was reasonably priced and had all the features to do the job. It's flexible with the USB connection, so will work with all three of the computers I have. Worked perfectly from the start.

Product is good...does as expected. It hooks up through usb so it is easy to hook up and use from the get go. Once it is hooked up, your computer literally does the rest of the work...it downloads that little program it need to run and everything is done! The product is much like a laptop cd-rom. You click the little button, the tray comes out, you snap in the cd, and done!

It’s cheap, simple and does what it’s supposed to do. Now a days laptops don’t even have disc drives and neither do desktop computers, I’m not sure about all in one PC’s but digital content is the future. For those people who still want to install music, software, drivers or an OS from a disc, this will be the option for you.
