Purchased this and it works wonderful. I only had to install one program onto my computer but was quick and easy. This is a go to if you need a cd drive. Came with usb cord and all items for it to work. Would recommend

Very nice external dvd/cd drive for the price

You don’t need to use the dvd that comes with it and install the software if you don’t need to be fancy. Just plug the drive in and connect to your PC. The software PowerDVD wanted me to pay after certain days. We don’t need it to have the dvd working. I uninstalled the powerDVD.

Slim and compact.

It is slim and not bulky. I have yet to find out if I can burn CDs (yes I still love to listen to my mix CDs in the car, I am old school) but have been too busy to give it a try.

Great product for my needs

A must have as my laptop has no CD/DVD drive. I was able to install some old PC games on my new laptop, and also listen to the music and watch the movies that I have in my collection.
