Great laptop

The only thing I didn't like was this uses Window 11. BUT I will have to get used to it in the future so I am getting used to it now.

It has performed very well since I've had it. I have had other brands at a higher cost and this Lenovo has performed exceptionally well.

The right connection

I just finished my first year. The DVD drive allowed me to install it on my new computer to get the remaining life out of my license. On sale for $30. Gotta love it.

Lightweight and reliable

Lightweight and easy to slip into my laptop backpack.

Caution must be used when opening drawer as it feels like it would break with even the slightest excess pressure.

Finding out that disc drives are a thing of the past led me to buying this LG unit. So far this super thin disc drive is just what I need to plany/Rip & Burn disc. No problems have surfaced.

Solid product, great value

Since nothing has disc drives anymore, needed one for those random occasions that you have to have one. Great deal at Best Buy. It's slim and USB powered, so you don't have to worry about finding a place to plug it in. Works on Mac without any issues. Just plug it in and you're good to go.

great disk drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.very capable disk drive, able to play the majority of DVDs and CDs i throw at it (with the exception of HDDVDs) i do suggest using VLC media player though so you're not at the mercy of ROMs or whatever program a disk wants you to use by default

Very Happy with this DVD/CD External Drive

I have not used it to play a DVD or CD, but I am very happy with this purchase. I bought a new laptop that did not have a built-in DVD/CD disc, so an external one will have to work.
