Perfect for my entertainment desktop

It plays all of my DVD's and music cds without any issues. Definitely would recommend this to people who are in the market for one.

I think that my music cd’s were of poor quality and that’s what created my issues of not the whole cd being copied. And of course getting it on sale is always a plus.

Makes a good add on for my family Apple users too, so I can back up both PC and Mac to DVD for restores - just in case!!

solid basic external drive

Worked well, not noisy, looked good, solid cable connection, a little flimsy feel to the tray when fully extended but that's not unexpected in such a small light device. good deal.

So far I haven’t been able to install or use it on my wife’s new desktop computer. I thought I should be able to use it between two different devices by just plugging it in and installing the software for each. Not sure why it’s not allowing me to?

But if you're gonna buy an external disc drive, this one is a great buy. The Best Buy, if you will lol.

Nice accessory for laptop

I purchased this external DVD drive and it works great. It comes with software instructions, but so far I've only used it to listen to audio CDs and haven't tried to burn anything with it. The price is great. The small, thin size stores away nicely on the bookshelf and is ready for use whenever I need it.
