LG External DVD Drive At a Great Price

The salesperson at Best Buy suggested I buy the LG-8x External USB Double-Layer DVD+-Rw/CD-RW Drive. It just so happened to be the cheapest of the external drives and it has worked perfectly for my applications.

It's difficult that laptops tend to no longer have a CD drive, but understandable why they don't. There weren't any options at BB when I bought this. Only issue I've had is that sometimes it doens't want to open after I've transferred files from a CD to the computer. Normally I've had to disconnect it from the laptop and re-connect it to remedy the problem. I'm sure there's better options out there.

Good peripheral DVD player at a fair price

It's great for installing my vintage PC games on my modern laptop, but I am not going to try watching a movie through it. It was a fair price, and I'm glad I bought it.

Review of disk player

Up till this time I had no way of opening any disk I received. It is very simple to use. Plug into you laptop and place the disk in the ready. I highly recommend this to anyone.

Great if you need a portable disc-drive!

Good External DVD for the Price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the USB External DVD RW/CD-RW for the sole purpose of being able to watch movies on my laptop, now that many of the new laptops aren't including DVD players, because of streaming. It works great, but you must know that DVD Player software is necessary also. It's not just plug and play. That is why I also bought PoweDVD 18 Ultra software.
