This one has the same software and won't work with the windows 10 update. You can purchase a software package or real player but the software that comes with the drive is no longer supported. If you don't have a drive and want to buy a program this will work for you. The drive is inexpensive.

Good External CD drive

DVDRW drives are not extinct yet thankfully

Most pcs don't come with an internal drive like this anymore, so although I don't use it too often, it more than does the job. Perfect to install the software suite that comes with pc motherboards if you don't want to go digging for the downloadable files on the website.

So, things gotta go. Plus, just about everything is in the cloud or downloadable from the internet. Some of us still have the occasional use for a disc drive and this works plenty well for any needs I have had thus far.
