I have many cd’s that I used in support of my work almost daily and this (with a cable adapter) works just fine for me now that I am retired. I wish it played blu-ray discs but it doesn’t. Great value for what I want to do.

Great Add On

Since I really dont use my drive much I decide that using a external drive would be perfect. So Far in the few time's that I've used the drive there has been no issue and works great.

My father told me that his DVD player was not working. I bought this just in case that was true - it was not. I returned this product the next day.

I can use it for a multitude of applications from viewing a DVD, writing a storage DVD or CD, or listening to a music CD. I'm very happy with it!

Great way to address laptop deficiency

So many laptops today no longer have DVD/CD players and this is an easy way to fix that problem. I haven’t used it a lot, so I don’t know long term how it will hold up, but thus far I am a happy camper.
