Easy install

Functionally does what it is designed for and is nice and compact. Previous version of the LG drive was a little bulkier so this is nice and sits fine beside an external hard drive. Comes with some additional software programs - power DVD for example

DVD LG player

Excellent Product

I was transferring old home videos on dvd to my laptop to add to a portable storage. Trying to keep the videos looking good and this sure helped the job!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It is an external drive and it does work with my macbook pro with only thunderbolt ports... just be careful, you have to have a usb-c to micro usb cord, or use an adapter and plug it directly into the computer... using a hub does not work at all. Also, the drive is skittish about movement... any shaking will disrupt playback... but i feel this is normal at this price point

Functions very well. I had some problems with a coupe of CDs that didnt work, but I think it was the CDs fault, since other CDs which I watched afterwards worked really well. I bought this for 20$, and its great value for the money
