Just what I needed.

(I'm actually using it to rip a CD as I type this) The sound isn't too much for me, but I also like the whir of drives. It never gets overheated or has problems with power. It's a little hard to get CD/DVD's out sometimes, but it's never much of an inconvenience. Super easy to set up and crazy user-friendly.

I have educational dvds that I could not utilize with my current system. I read reviews that I may need to download software, but I just plugged it into the drive and it worked! So happy with my inexpensive purchase!

Just what I needed.

This was a perfect addition to it. It runs quiet and loads fast. I not used it to burn anything yet, but I have a good feeling about it considering how well it has done with everything else.

Very Happy

Installation was plug and play. Installations went without a hitch. Have not recorded anything, but very happy with what I have used it for. And the price and delivery were great.

I have used this in multiple ways since hooking it up - from watching Christmas DVD's to burning personalized music CD's as Christmas presents for family and friends. It was easy to set up and I am not finding things that it cannot handle

Nice alternative

I like to play DVD's and have a large archive on DVD's that I am transferring to an external drive. So far this LG is doing a great job in keeping up with all the open and close I put it through.
