LG-8X DVD/CD Drive performed as advertised. Easy set-up while performing flawlessly right out of the box. Pricing was very reasonable. The unit was recommended by one of the Best buy customer reps as being very good deal for the price. He was right.

Comes in handy as most desktops and thin laptops do not include drives anymore. Good price and easy set-up. Good to have on hand for those times you need a dvd drive.

I didn't think I'd ever have a need for a cd drive until recently and this one definitely came to the rescue! It was easy to install and use and works well!

I only bought this so I could use the USB port. I can put my USB Flash drive, loaded with MP3s into the port, and plug the outputs into my stereo. An MP3 stereo receiver costs hundreds of bucks. This only cost me $25 to provide a USB input to my existing stereo system. Works like a charm.

I have a very small Dell laptop with no disc drive. This drive gives me the ability to read discs. It is very compact and light and is a valuable addition to my traveling kit. This DVD double burner/player is a great addition to any newer laptop that does not come with a DVD player. Just plug and play and your ready to go.

Works well so far. I just bought this and been using this to load Windows and other software programs by cd and dvd disks. I haven't watched movies or archived data.

It's a nice edition for a laptop if you don't need a SD card slot. But I needed both so I returned it because my laptop doesn't have a SD card slot.

Easy to use and is compatible with my laptop. I can use it for a variety of programs - music, videos, etc.!
