I have bought this before, and it did everything I needed it to do. Bought more for extra workstations and loved the great price! Excellent value!

I have a very small Dell laptop with no disc drive. This drive gives me the ability to read discs. It is very compact and light and is a valuable addition to my traveling kit. I recently used it to load a program onto my computer. I would recommend it to anyone as an addition to their traveling kit.

It serves its purpose and it's easy to use. It is also very compact.

I only bought this so I could use the USB port. I can put my USB Flash drive, loaded with MP3s into the port, and plug the outputs into my stereo. An MP3 stereo receiver costs hundreds of bucks. This only cost me $25 to provide a USB input to my existing stereo system. Works like a charm.

Our school installed new computers in our classrooms but they lacked CD-Roms. I use a lot of music in my classroom so I bought this to be able to play the music for the kids. It was inexpensive but it gets the job done. It’s plug and play so that helps as well.

I had an internal drive in my lap top which started having problems, this external drive works like a charm and it is easy to start using.

I found this LG brand DVD/CD Writer to be very easy to use. I just attached the USB into my computer and it was pretty much "Plug and Play". Now I am able to listen to all my CGs that I have had around for awhile and have not been able to listen to.

It's a plug and play DVD reader/writer. It does what it should and is easy to use. The included software package makes it that much better.

Amazing external drive for a computer that does not have one. I know they a phasing out, however I can use it to view old data, music and movies. And it helps with making data backups to secure files

I read other reviews but I just plugged it in to my old Windows XP, it found the drive quickly and burned a CD quickly. Not noisy. Didn't feel more cheaply made than the drive that came in my new Windows 10 laptop. Drive are just made that way now. I like it and it works well.

Love this product! Since technology does not have a CD drive, this is the perfect fit for your computer! I can watch CD's again on my computer.

It's a good find if your cd/dvd player is acting up all you have to do is plug in the USB to your PC and you can play or record what you need to in a pinch.
