Due to my new desktop computer not having a disk drive that I could use to burn old DVDs and CDs, I had to make this purchase. It's very light weight, yet effective.

The laptop is a new Dell inspiron 15 in monitor system with a solid state hard drive. Since most laptops no longer come with a CD drive, this fit the bill perfectly and can stay home where it belongs when I tote the laptop around.

It's totally plug and play using USB with the cord supplied, and is ready to go as is. It does all I need and much more.

I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of synchronizing and integration. My first use was flawless. Great to have less stress on the road without an IT department...

External Drive works with SurfacePro.

The included USB cable has a micro USB end for the drive. I have a 3.0 USB external drive that does not work with my SurfacePro 3.

Great external dvd-CD burner

Being powered by the USB port is a nice feature, meaning fewer cords. Defintely a keeper. Why is it that all DVD-CD burner installed in home computers perform so poorly ?

So happy to have this external cd drive to load my games. Very helpful and useful and easy to use!!!!
