Most computers do not have disk drives these days, this is very useful if you want to watch movies from your computer.

I didn't think I'd ever have a need for a cd drive until recently and this one definitely came to the rescue! It was easy to install and use and works well!

Does an excellent job in playjng discs. I have a surface pro 3 and works perfectly. I have had it for approximately two weeks now and have not had any issues with it thus far.

Pretty much all laptops no longer come with dvd drives. I bought this dvd drive to be able to install programs that I have on discs. I also use it to creat data disks and watch dvd movies that I own. It honestly does what it's supposed to and so far I have had no problems using it.

Purchased this LG DVD player to play movies on my laptop. Plugged into my USB and was recognized immediately. Works as expected. Have not tried to burn anything yet. Fast delivery service from Best Buy.

Works well so far. I just bought this and been using this to load Windows and other software programs by cd and dvd disks. I haven't watched movies or archived data.

i have used the heck out of this thing almost daily since purchase, very small, light and portable, very dependable and seamless to integrate even into windows vista and all kinds of linux machines, and even my smart tv.

Super cheap, works flawlessly. Using on a PC. It was pretty much plug and play. Came with everything needed to get going.

We had a little difficulty understanding the instructions when we put in the disk that came with it as we are using it with a Mac. Come to find out we didn't need to use the disk for what we wanted to do. It works just fine for us.

Mainly needed for old pc games, did what I needed it to do and easy to set up

This DVD double burner/player is a great addition to any newer laptop that does not come with a DVD player. Just plug and play and your ready to go.
