slim don't take much space easy to use go anywhere

Works as well as ones costing twice as much, but only needs one USB connection to run.

I haven't really got a chance to fully use the dvd player as of yet. But, what I have done so far, I really enjoy playing cd's. I love the smart, light-weight design and it (so-far) has been easy to use. I would highly recommend this product.

I bought 2 of these as Christmas presents--one for my son and also one for my grandson. They were both very pleased when they opened them on Christmas Day, I have been told that they work very well. I would buy them again,

Easy to setup and use. Have used a couple times since buying it about a couple of weeks ago and the results are good.

I get that manufacturers are making their computers smaller by skipping the CD drives, and admittedly I don't need it often; but when I do, I do. This is speedy and small enough to toss in the accessory pocket of my computer protective case.

My laptop does not have a CD/DVD drive so I purchased this after reading numerous reviews in the positive. It works great for both playing and burning CDs and DVDs. What more can you ask for?

I like this devise very much. It hooked up to my computer easily and I could play CD's on it. The sound and ease of use was great.

I needed an external reader\writer for a one-time installation and this one happened to be on sale. I am pleased to say it worked perfectly and was instantly recognized by as a CD\DVB by my motherboard and Windows 10. No fuss in setting up or external power source is needed which is a plus. It's simple and it works.

I got this for my mum, as I have one myself. I have watched many a movie with this drive, as laptops just assume you only stream movies. I've even watched a European movie that I love, no problems. I also took it to work to re-load an old scanner on a computer without a drive. This drive saved our biscuits. I have not yet coped to a disk, so I can't say much of it's writing function. All in all, I really like this DVD RW/CD-RW drive.

Bought this external disc drive for my computer because my tower doesn't have a disc drive built in to it. I was a little concerned because the device looks and feels a little flimsy in your hand at first glance. So far it's worked perfectly, though! Nothing bad to say at this point.

This works well with an older Mac Air USB connection. Will not work on my new Mac Air with smaller C connector, even with a USB-C converter cable. Bought this to play old DVDs and it works well. Construction seems plastic; not for hard use, but at $25 it's a bargain.

A great addition to add to new laptops without cd drives. As today’s gear is coming slimmer and smaller it has to say goodbye to older accessories but external drives allow you to still use cds for downloads and back ups.extremely easy to use

My new laptop did not have an internal DVD player so the salesperson suggested an external player. This devise fits the bill perfectly. I use it almost daily because I am using a guitar instruction program that is on DVD's. Great product.

This player was recommended by the sales person that he personally had this model. It worked perfectly on installation. As I don't always need the player I have not used it very much. So at this time I have only limited experience, but it appears to be everything it is supposed to be.
